The Turks are enemies with both sides. They don’t care who wins.

“Obama is not interested in defeating ISIS. He just wants to LOOK like he is doing something.”
**************************************************************************************
Yep, appear to be doing something while reveling in the victories of his fellow Muslims in ISIS against the Kurds.

I tend to think of my screen name to the person who was the 11th commandment than applying the rule to the GOPe.

I keep thinking and saying that ISIS is a Turk/Saud/State operation. They may have become an embarrassment to State requiring now some deniability, but the Turks aren’t embarrassed.

From our point of view they are driving a physical wedge between Iran and Syria. From Turkey’s point of view they are clearing the way for the Caliphate.

ISIS themselves may not realize they are a Turkish proxy. But the Turks know it.

The thug ruling Turkey would love to see the Kurds wiped out.

Exactly

But the overwhelming majority here want us involved to the hilt. It is sickening.

Turkey opened CONSULATES for ISIS.

The Turks and ISIS are on the SAME SIDE.

Flatten Raqqa with B-52s and iron bombs.

It might be different if our govt really looked after our military and actually let them fight to win.

Even so, we still shouldn’t be over there. The ONLY people worth fighting for over there that have any integrity at all are the Israelis.

I don’t give a shit about anyone else over there(as a whole-remember I’m talking about predominantly muslim countries).

They can’t be trusted they talk out of both sides of their mouth and they always support their own kind(muslims)when it’s all said and done

Maybe instead of bringing in muslim “refugees” we could bring in Jews and Christians that are left.

We don’t need to be in the proxy wars or building nations or dabbling in humanitarian aid(ebola)anymore.

Bring our men and women home now!
We’ve got enough at home to take care of

We don’t need to be over there bombing anyone. We don’t even know who we are bombing and who we are saving from being bombed.

None of them are our friends

I wouldn’t doubt it.

No matter who comes out on top in the middle east, none of them are our friends.

What do you base this on? Christians who have fled from ISIS have been receiving shelter by the Kurds. As far as I see the Kurds have been the only ones trying to fight ISIS, and I never heard of them doing any genocide. The Iraqis and Turks on the other hand...

The only reasons we should ever consider fighting anywhere are:

1. Defending our own territory.

2. Taking new territory ... for keeps.

We do not need to be helping people who are constantly fighting with each other and who cannot take care of themselves or to ‘nation build’ or any such cr@p’.

If a country asks for our help, we should consider it in exchange for huge payment (which goes to our soldiers, not to the DoD & friends) or huge for huge chunks of their territory ... the parts with resources ... the proceeds of which get split up among our soldiers (not the DoD & friends).

Otherwise, defend yourselves. And that included Europe.

The Kurds are Muslims. No matter how nice they are now, if they got the upper hand they would be no different than any other Muslims.

They may be of some use now but NONE OF THEM are our friends in the long run. Just remember that.

Works for me. I used to be all gung ho like some of the others until I learned more about islam and how they operate over there.

But you’re absolutely right. They are not friends to America.

We need to clean up our own yard before we try and everyone elses.
