We should have gone in there and bombed the appropriate people responsible for 9/11 to smithereens and gone home.
Instead we embarked on ‘nation building’ project.
That is total BS. We are never going to change the people there even if we stayed there 1,000 years and built all their infrastructure for them, grew all their food and hand fed it to them.
Personally, I believe Saudi Arabia was primarily responsible for 9/11. The personnel, ideology, leadership, cash, etc. all came from Saudi.
I thought we ought to have taken their sand and oil, and installed a police state. Let the Jihadis come, and kill them all. All the time. Wall to wall. Destroy Mecca and Medina. Depopulate the peninsula as necessary.
Those guys want a war? They should get TOTAL WAR.
I believe they bought and paid for our politicians to get obola in the WH

You’re correct of course but our elites in both parties are getting rich supporting the Saudis.
