"I've made decision. I will throw my hat in the ring. Sometime in the near future I will officially announce I am running for POTUS in 2016," Lynch told the crowd as they erupted in applause and celebration. After weeks hinting at the prospect, it's official, his mind is made up and there is no turning back.

Following Saturday's event, Lynch posted his reaction on Facebook:

why do think immigration will be mute by that point? Illegal immigration hits all aspects of our American way of life. Do you realize that we have what Dennis calls a perfect storm heading our way when it comes to illegal immigration and obamacare? The employer mandate for o-care will go into affect first of the year. Here’s the kicker while illegals fall under amnesty they can get hired any where. Under o-care employers by law do not have to offer insurance or pay fines to anyone that falls under amnesty, now who do you think employers are going to hire? Dennis is the first politician to bring this into light and pretty much the only one talking about it. Cruz mentioned in one of his speeches. But one speech that’s it. I’m tired of politicians running this country I want a leader.

Let me ask you this. How has the past politicians worked for you? I’m looking for a leader someone that can get ahead of problems and not afraid to speak his mind and not worry about political correctness. His track record on running his own business and having .... oh my can’t think of the gentleman name right this second, we was Apple CEO for a time. This person was his partner. He was at the twin towers on 9/11 that event changed everything for him. There is more to him.

Good grief, that is what the primary is for. Who ever comes out as the winner that is who the GOP needs to rally around. I just hope that Cruz or Carson or Gowdy don’t split the ticket and run as an independent. That should be our biggest concern. Dennis has already promised that he will not do that. Right now all those who are thinking about running for POTUS in polls can not beat Hillary. Think about that one

How has the past politicians worked for you?

They vary considerably, good and bad, just like every other profession.

I’m looking for a leader someone that can get ahead of problems and not afraid to speak his mind and not worry about political correctness.

Ever heard the phrase, "pick your battles"? A President must do that. No President is an autocrat, even Zero doesn't do all he wants (thank G_d).

I’m tired of politicians and lawyers running this country. Nothing against lawyers. I’m looking for a leader, someone that knows how to get in front of issues and puts political correctness aside and will do what is right as the country as a whole.

I am as well...if this guy can get over the triple obstacles of name recognition, democrat politics of personal destruction and the GOPe ...

He would get my vote...

It would be nice if he actually ran for a local elected office first, you know just to see what the man is made of...

I'm with Cruz

He's been way too silent about the invaders in the US and I'm wondering where he's at about the banking mess in the US. I've not agreed with a lot of what Cruz has said about foreign policy, and hasn't said. We need people such as David Lynch in the discussion to make sure the issue of the invasion of the US stays on the table. I'd also like to see Steve Forbes in there to talk intelligently about the economy. Jonie Ernst will be in the US Senate, hopefully, for some intelligent and experienced insight about the military.

Cruz might be the quarterback, but we need a team to keep the issues alive.

Big bump to this guy.

America is about to go through a very profound change. Ebola will force immigration to the front of our debate, and for the first time ever, that debate will be for LIMITING IMMIGRATION AND THE FLOW OF PEOPLE.

That is going to be huge.

Just wait and see.

No offense, but if his movies were any good, they would take them. The theaters and distributors are very much capitalists. Getting a film distributed is easy. Making a film anyone thinks will be any good... THAT is hard.

Just the kind of fella that Princess Liawatha (the Rat Party's nominee in ‘16) will want to see on the ballot...especially in swing states.

Done.So now I know what I thought was true *is* true...99% of the votes he might get would come from the Republican nominee.W won in 2000 by 1 Electoral Vote and about 300 popular votes. It can *absolutely* be said that Nader cost algore the White House.I don't want the reverse to happen in '16.

As I said...this guy's candidacy will surely be (secretly) supported, financially and otherwise,by Princess Liawatha...the most loathsome creature to ever walk American soil.

What could be his purpose for running other than to draw off conservative votes from qualified candidates?

Remember Ross Perot. Lynch can run and get his message out and then throw his support to Cruz or Perry.
