I am sure many of the people who had half an eye on this, were telling themselves, "Well, no one in the United States has died of it..". Now it gets a little more scary.

People in this country aren't going to run out into the streets in panic over Duncan's death, but we've now passed a subtle, yet significant inflection point in the public mindset with regards to Ebola.

There's now no getting past the knowledge that this thing kills. Even in America.

The scary thing isn’t that Duncan died, but knowing Obama has encouraged so many illegals to enter the country, provided logistics to disperse them throughout the country, provide them legitimacy and privacy, and promotes propaganda worldwide to ebola victims of how we offer to cure ebola.

Meanwhile he fosters legalism after they arrive, encouraging any illness to remain unreported.

For every documented case of suspected exposure, there now may be 100 cases of undocumented exposure by unknown carriers.

Since the symptoms aren’t manifest for up to 22 days, HCW will tend to vacillate between fear of the unknown and complacency further exhausting our capacity to isolate the disease.

IMHO, we need to focus on private easily implemented PPE at home and the workplace. Initial emphasis may be placed on heightened hygiene as common courtesy.
