The motion was filed at 2PM on Monday, but I haven’t found any updates about the disposition...whether the Court granted the petition, and whether Texas State Health Services was subsequently able to locate and detain him.
If this is a different guy, does that make two active ebola cases in the Dallas/Frisco area? Dr. Lakey, (commissioner of the Texas Department of State Health Services), stated in the petition that this guy was “reasonably suspected of being infected...”
The homeless guy named Michael Lively was found and picked up by Dallas police/authorities some time in the last two days.
He was high on the list of possible infectees because he was transported in the same ambulance that took Duncan to Dallas Presbyterian right after Duncan was received there.
I don't have any updates on Lively's current disposition.
