Ever looked around in an urban hospital emergency department like Dallas Presby? There are signs ALL over in multiple languages declaring how you CANNOT be denied care for lack of insurance or funds.
When a person comes to a hospital and says they are sick, they don’t just admit them on a hunch. There HAS to be an evidence-based diagnosis. When this guy got to the hospital, whatever symptoms he was presenting with , and WHATEVER he told the workers about his history, did not add up to an admission.
This is not racism, it’s public healthcare.
I look around and I see signs that say people can't drive more than 65 on the expressway. Those aren't followed very often either.

We don't know what he was presenting with. We don't know whether his examination was cursory or detailed. We do know he was a Liberian national without health insurance. If you want to believe that had nothing to do with the exam he got then so be it.
