The Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. marked his 73rd birthday Wednesday by criticizing the medical care of the first person to die of the Ebola virus in the U.S., contending he initially got substandard care due to his lack of health insurance.
Thomas Eric Duncan, 42, died in Dallas Wednesday, a day after Jackson had been there to meet with Duncans family and offer assistance, Jackson told students during an assembly at Farragut Career Academy in Chicago.
Because he got late treatment, this morning he died, Jackson said.
He pointed out that whites, who have been treated for the virus in the U.S., were saved from death.
People who are poor and dont have heath insurance must have the same rights as everybody else.
He told the students he planned to travel back to Dallas to assist the Duncan family.

... ya gotta make hay while the sun shines ...
Duncan was an infected alien. He should not have even been here in the first place.
Any care he received was better than he deserved
Just THIS kind of crap, plus seeing a picture of a Black guy when any and practically all crime stories are reported, and Obama taking us to RUIN....well all these things have set back race relations decades!!
This is just so old and tired that it doesn't even bother me anymore. Just go home Jesse. No one cares anymore.
“Duncan was probably going to die anyway.”
Duncan was going to die anyway.
It never turns out well for any of us, my friend.
Have the Duncan’s paid any of their hospital bill? The Doctors and Nurses at the Hospital risked their lives to treat the man, now they face the stress of a lawsuit.
What good does it do to sue the hospitals out of existence. In Africa, the Doctors and Nurses are ‘leaving the scene’. They are protesting in France.
I bet there will be a lot of ‘retirements’ of those in the medical field here in the U.S. if ebola gets out of control here.
If everyone has good treatment and insurance, no one will ever die.
Lets keep in mind that Duncan could have told the hospital the first time he went that he probably has Ebola. He lied and was untruthful. He also exposed others.
His death was caused by his lies.
Jesse the late treatment was Ebola Man’s own fault..
he could have gone to a hospital back in Liberia instead of getting on that plane..
he could have spent that $1,000 he had to buy himself health care fit for a king...but no he didn’t want to..
its about choices he made his...
When they settle their lawsuits, I’m sure they’ll reimburse the hospital. What ingrates.
STFU JJ
What kind of assistance?
MAYBE,IF Jackson hadn't shown up, Duncan might have lived.
It may or may not have had some effect, but I believe that you are right, Duncan was going to die anyways.
FU Jesse.
Try this one on for size:

“Maybe...Whites are just plain substantialy superior”.
Look at the Palo world he. Ame from.
Why is the rest of the world living in modernity while Africa is stuck centuries behind?
This is amazing, as Africa has been in existence far longer than America and Europe.
Have the Duncans paid any of their hospital bill?

Its about $500,000
I suppose lying about having Ebola didn’t slowdown his diagnosis and treatment. Jesse is just doing his raceturbation schtick.
It’ll be a double whammy. Not only will the hospital not get reimbursed, but they’ll be sued by his supposed “fiance”. And, of course, JJ will want his cut. No good deed goes unpunished.
He should have told the Hospital point blank that he thought he had Ebola. And, yes, he got far better care here than he would have gotten in Liberia.
there is no treatment for the disease. There is merely death management
