Once again, the grievance mongers in the St. Louis region are calling for a revolution, a war against police.

However, the “innocent 18 year-old with a sandwich” narrative is not accurate.
Vonderrit Myers Jr., pictured with his mother, was shot dead by an off-duty police officer on Wednesday night. (Daily Mail)
Regarding the deceased suspect who physically struggled with and shot at the officer Police Chief Dotson said the man was “no stranger to law enforcement“
Vonderrit Myers, Jr., at 18 years-old, already had a gun felony charge.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that people claiming to be relatives of the victim identified him as 18-year-old Vonderrit Myers, Jr. His date of birth identified as 1996. (His father also named Vonderrit, born in 1972, has cases listed too.) Vonderrit’s only 18 and already has felony charges as an adult.
He has serious charges on Missouri Casenet.

1422-CR02533 – ST V VONDERRIT DEONDRAY MYERS (E-CASE)
Filing:
THE ABOVE DEFENDANT WAS ACTIVATED ON ELECTRONIC MONITORING HOUSE ARREST/GPS ON JULY 8,2014. EMASS WILL NOTIFY THE COURT IF ANY VIOLATIONS OCCUR.
Vonderrit Myers Jr. had an electronic monitor and was house arrest.
GPS monitoring shows the officers real-time images of where their defendants are, and whether they are abiding by curfews or geographical orders of protection.
The ankle monitor could be how the officer’s attention was drawn to Vonderrit. It could be another reason he had the lopsided run that Chief Dotson mentioned in his press conference.
Raised them sons up properly, I see.
Yes, sarcasm.
And the thug must have been a consummate slob to jam a Ruger.
LOL. I had the same thought. I’ve had a number of Rugers and have a 9mm p89 now, mark I and mark II in the past. Never had a jam even after repeated rapid fire exercises. Ofcourse that was way back when ammo was much cheaper.
The SL mayor needs to get on top of this.
He needs to call a press conference, describe Myers murderous actions in shooting at police, then tell the thugs that if they want a war, they will get it. That those who defend such criminals are scum who deserve whatever happens to them if they break the law.
Then if they do riot, shoot EVERY thug that throws a rock or Molotov cocktail, or loots a store.
This is the only thing this scum understands.
Failure to do this will only encourage the violence.
Not necessarily. We know it was a 9mm, but which 9mm? Ruger P series or SR series?
A portion of our society is dooming itself to destruction. The rest of us will not allow us to be dragged down with it. This view is primarily with Republicans, but will spread to everyone, who doesn't want law of the jungle. Even liberals will wake up at some point.
