[ISIS] Daesh seizes Kurdish [Kobani] HQ, approaches Turkish border

UN envoy calls on Turkey to prevent massacre in Kobani

Suruc: Militants captured the headquarters of Kurdish fighters defending the battleground Syrian town of Kobani on Friday as a UN envoy warned of a looming “massacre” by Daesh.

Outgunned Kurdish militia were struggling to prevent the militants closing off the last escape route for the thousands of civilians still in or near the town, prompting an appeal for urgent military assistance.

US-led warplanes have intensified air strikes against Daesh fighters who have been attacking Kobani for three weeks but the Pentagon has warned that, without a force on the ground to work with, there are limits to what can be done.

The militants’ advance has brought the front line to just 1.3 kilometres from the Turkish border.

“Daesh now controls 40 per cent of the town,” said the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

“The capture of the headquarters will allow the militants to advance on the border post with Turkey to the north of the town,” its director Rami Abdul Rahman said.

If the Kurds’ priority is keeping an escape route open then the town has fallen.

I’ve said this BEFORE & repeat again: “A main issue here is the U.S. designated PKK, which is an affiliate of YPG Kurdish grp, as a terrorist grp because of Turkey. Partly why U.S. isn’t supporting YPG (Kurds) like U.S. did peshmerga in iraq. This is very bad in the long run. YPG & PKK were the ones helping pesh in iraq fight I.S. and helped the Yezidis too. Now the U.S. is allowing their genocide in Syria. Then again says volumes about U.S. policy when Turkey has been supporting I.S. indirectly at least. VERY BAD..”

I did read Turkish Forces fired upon ISIS members who were firing at fleeing Kurdish refugees. May be time for Turkey to try out those new MPT-76 rifles!

The Turkish government and armd forces will take no action whatsoever as long as Obama will commit to USA “boots-on-the-ground”. No one in the right mind...across the world trusts one iota of what Obama utters and says. Obama has been branded by the entire world as a serial lie teller, who has loyalty to no one but himself, and his beloved, adored, Muslim Brotherhood brethren!!

Nothing will change until the the American voters completely politcally destroy the entire Obamabot, Democrat Party, come election day, Tuesday, November 4, 2014, making POTUS, Obama, an instant, ineffective, useless, “Lame Duck” POTUS!! End of story!!! Obama...in his evil heart really stands with ISIS!!!

I did read Turkish Forces fired upon ISIS members who were firing at fleeing Kurdish refugees.

As it stands, that's inconsequential and basically BS; make no difference in defeating or even pushing back I.S.

Well this war is going pretty cruddy.

But Obama had fundraisers at Hollywood mansions to go to, so I’m sure it will all work out.

Right now, everyone is focused on Ebola.

Truth is, we are missing what is happening. Obama does not want to get rid if ISIS. We are doing pinprick bombing. ISIS keeps taking territory. Obama has even said that our bombing isn’t to keep ISIS from advancing.

Right now, Kobani is about to fall to ISIS. There are also reports that ISIS has infiltrated Baghdad. Just a matter of time. That is why they sent some troops to the ME. For evacuation.

The Turks said they won’t join the fight unless the US attacks Assad. Turks are not on our side. Obama admin is playing games again.

Obama cares not about the Kurds because they are in the way of ISIS, owned by the Saudis.

I heard a clip of McCain saying that our attacks on Isis in Syria was helping Assad and hurting the Syrian rebels. Oh, really? We know they are one and the same.

Now what do you think that means? A deal must have been struck to turn Syria and Iraq over to Sunni control.

We are being had again by the NWO guys. They are close to what they want now. They can smell it.

I also noticed a huge return of the gun control freaks. They are determined to take them away.

Obama was searching for a high level envoy to send to Turkey. Rumor has it that he has recruited Gwyneth Paltrow who, together with VP Joe Biden, will formulate all future Mideast policy.

Unlikely. More probably is it becomes the Kurdish Saigon, all thanks to Obama. Anyone relying on the Turks to help the Kurds is a moron. It’s like asking the Chinese to help Tibetans in Nepal.
