The family had requested anonymity. But I'm reposting for the following reasons:
- It's already news.
- The family confirmed it to Yahoo News.
- The nurse needs prayers.
- Anyone who came into contact with her, since August Sept 24th, needs to know. And that information should outweigh privacy issues.
- Discrimination against Ebola patients will stop in a couple of months. Exposed people are avoided in the short run for good reason.

It doesn’t matter what the family requested. This is a fatal and contagious disease. Anyone who may have had even incidental contact with her has the right to know that she’s been infected.

Already saw that website news blurb obviously written by a liberal/Obama supporter asking why an “inexperienced 26-year old” would be treating an Ebola patient. The implication was that her catching the virus was her own fault and not proximately caused by Obama letting Liberians like Duncan into the US.
I’m sure she had more than enough training to work in that wing. Whether it was airborne, accidental or a breakdown in protocol, that woman was working under tough circumstances and our prayers should go out to she and her family.

I pray for this girl in her fight. I am furious that CDC tried to BLAME HER!!! You can’t make it up. Democrats are blaming budget cuts!! This is degenerating quickly. I actually saw a blog blaming the state of TEXAS? Stop the damned flights and passengers from killing our people!!. Get your ass off the golf course and DO SOMETHING!!! FAST!!

A team of 50 people worked with Duncan. The size of the team could be part of the problem.
She looks like a very nice person. Prayers for her, her family, her bf and her dog.

This is only Obamas fault! Human error should always be expected. For this very reason all flights should be banned and borders should be closed.

May God help her! prayers up.

I am sure the nurse will be happy to know that Shep Smith (Fox News) has repeatedly stated “Ebola has not spread in the US.” What the heck he means by that, I don’t know. I wonder if he is being told to say that?

I generally don’t respond to ‘prayer threads’ and that sort of thing, just because it doesn’t seem right to insert myself into someone else’s private business, but I feel obligated to pray for this unfortunate young woman who devoted her life to helping people.

Prayers up for this young lady. May Our Almighty Father heal her and make her whole to His Greater Glory. I ask this in the Holy Name of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen.
