BOSTON Medical crews in hazmat suits have responded to an arriving plane at the international terminal at Logan Airport.
A source told NewsCenter 5 that six passengers on board the flight had become sick.
The plane, an Emirates airliner that had arrived from Dubai, was surrounded by ambulances and emergency responders in white and yellow suits.
Massport, which runs the airport, did not respond to several phone messages on the nature of the incident.
However, international airports around the country are on alert for Ebola, though there was no indication that was related to the emergency response.

I am voting, the eye of newt...
Five, six, ten, why not the entire passenger list on the plane. Unless it’s a group that’s been together for a while, becoming symptomatic from Ebola over the course of the same flight is highly unlikely, from what I’ve been able to learn.
That said, I agree that is unlikely to be Ebola, with such a rapid manifestation of symptoms. No, I’m not a doctor. :-)
If I survive Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing,, Nagasaki should be a snap. :-)
What do you think, cyn, Middle East Respiratory Syndrome?
Agreed. But if it is Ebola, then quarantine is a no brainer.
They may have to start setting aside some large warehouses or something to put these people in if this things start multiplying. Get them away from the hospitals.
There is a fairly substantial Muslim population in Ebola outbreak countries, isn’t there? Not impossible, but very improbable given the number ill on the same plane, unless they’re pulling a Castro and it’s a Mariel plane-lift dumping them on us.
It has happened, Every Time...
Just like they did after the Ft. Hood shooting, saying it was not an act of terrorism.
Whenever they think something is done that harms their agenda, they say the opposite.
We live in a reverse speak world.
Yep, it would be the smart thing to do. Then what about the next plane that arrives tomorrow with sick people on it, and the one in Chicago, and the one in Atlanta, and the one at Dulles, and the one at JFK... and on and on. Where are they going to start putting the thousands of potentially exposed passengers?
Only problem I see at this time, is if they ever did close the borders, then NO ONE could get back in...

Often to Texas Medical Center in Houston.
TMC has a wonderful reputation - world wide.
I don’t know why, but I’ll have to admit that a visit to Asia intrigues me far more than one to Europe. Europe has never held any pull on me. That sounds like a great trip. All the best...
Yes. I plan on voting early when our local poll is open. We usually have one day for several precincts in the area.
I wish there was a “Hell no” or “You’ve got to be eff’in kidding me” button next to abortion barbie’s name.
I saw the mayor of the town, nearly brought to tears, when announcing the death of his poor child.
I think we have been pacified and frightened, coerced and targeted, when we express outrage when any evil-doing, directly or indirectly has been done to us by illegals. Our sufferings in not deemed legitimate.
Jesus, please keep this little boy near you and your sacred heart.
