During the former secretary of state's visit to Denver Monday, a barista at the Pigtrain Coffee shop made Clinton a latte with artwork drawn in to the foam, and boy did she get excited.
"Oh my god. Oh my god," Clinton said, summoning over Sen. Mark Udall, who she was campaigning for in the state. "Look at this. Look at this."
Atop Clinton's latte was an image of a smiling pig, named after the local coffee shop the two politicians stopped by, that Clinton said she liked too much to actually drink. But, it was Udall's latte, topped with one simple leaf, that really sent Clinton cracking.
"Look at you," she said to him in wonder as the barista handed the second beverage over. And then it clicked.
"Is that a marijuana plant?" she quipped with a wink, the room erupting in laughter.
She took some selfies with locals and chatted with the crowd before heading off to Las Vegas for two fundraising events, one for Sen. Harry Reid and one for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she delivered a keynote.
I'm missing where her comment was meant in some way to be a shot at Colorado's marijuana laws. According to the article, the entirety of her "joke" was ""Look at you! Is that a marijuana plant?"
Where's the witty commentary on the state's marijuana laws?
It's cute how ABC News tries to add some gravitas to her inane mutterings, as if Hillary's in some way clever or witty.
Are they sure she wasn't just looking at her reflection in the cup?

I hope she and Biden are the two Rat frontrunners. Both are terrible candidates.
Let me guess.. this is going to be the kind of glowy, soft, crappy media coverage we’re going to see on her in the next two years, isn’t it? She’s going to be portrayed as warm and humorous and smiley, while her conservative opposition will be portrayed as evil and/or dopey.

Interesting how Hillary’s had a pig, and she refused to drink it.

My comment was not about Hillary at all. It was about the fawning media crediting her with making some timely joking commentary about Colorado’s marijuana laws when she did nothing of the sort.
Seems you are among a bunch of other suckers who can't see past the acting. You're obviously old enough to remember her superb performance in the 60 Minutes interview with "The Clintons" about Bill's Arkansas affair with Gennifer Flowers. Don't forget her Oscar-worthy portrayal of an innocent cattle futures investor in her oh so "pretty in pink" bit. She's not funny; she's an unprincipled sociopath.
There are plenty of other things to get on her for. This isn't one of them. I'd be more concerned about the fact that she actually looks good in the video as opposed to that haggard look in the past. Her current look will appeal to more voters.
I saw the newsclip about the heckler at one of her $peaking engagement$. It always amazes me to see how many people don't give a hoot whether or not she was responsible for deaths at Benghazi and will show up to hear her give a speech.
No class.
