Correct. Corbett tried for 1 and 3. (2 is a stupid idea that I’m glad failed). The liberal union backed republican legislature screwed him and let those two issues die.
I will vote for Corbett but I won’t vote for anyone who didn’t try and pass the privatization measure.
Corbett is going to lose anyway though.
Ted Cruz stumped for Pat Roberts, as did Sarah Palin and for good reason. They understand the need to start with a democrat defeat in the Senate, they're clearly not part of the purity assinity of FR.
You need to think more clearly ahead, when (hopefully) Cruz wins the nomination, and then the presidency, he will need all the help in the Senate he can get in order to govern, and that ain't coming from the rats. I'm surprised you don't understand that Cruz won't govern like the dictator we have now, and he will need a GOP congress, as heavily weighted as possible.
Kindly think a little deeper on this.

Question: How would allowing GOP wins change things? This is to ask, what in recent history shows that the GOP having more power, in any shape or form, would be rightly used?

There are NO pro life democrats. NO anti-amnesty democrats. NO pro family democrats.
Not one.
When Cruz becomes president, he can't work with anyone in the other party as a result. NOT ONE. He can, like Reagan, move RINO squishes to the right, he can get them to move with him on an agenda for the good things we want. He cannot do that with the totalitarian left as consituted in the dem party. He can also scare the crap out of a few to vote with him if he rolls in with a popular mandate.
Like I said, Cruz and Palin understand this, and you ought to as well. Off to bed, think about it and respond in the morning rather than being so knee jerk dismissive to so many who want the same good things as you do.
I plan on voting for Corbett, only to vote against Wolfie. I know Wolfie, and I know what he and his old money cronies have done to the city of York, PA.
I wonder if there are ANY Mississippi Freepers planning to vote for Thad Cochran. I know of NONE! Certainly none from this household.

Agreed, the old RINO blame the conservatives for losing just won’t wash anymore. I’ll vote for Corbett but you’ll have to pardon me for not wasting money or time on his campaign. After the gay marriage cave in, I called his office and told them I was done actively supporting a quitting loser.
So just to review, lets just look at the list of what we were promised by a Corbett administration:
1. Voter ID - passed late, stopped by judge, Corbett gives up refusing to fight further
2. Reallocate Electoral College votes by congressional district instead of overall to curb Philly fraud - Corbett gives up after whining by RINOs
3. Privatize State Stores - Corbett unwilling to go the mat against obstructing RINOs
4. No tax increases - Corbett caves to RINOs wanting to throw around PennDOT cash
5. State Pension Crisis - Corbett unwilling to go to the mat against union tool obstructing RINOs
6. Gay Marriage - activist ruling by Judge authorizes, Corbett gives up refusing to fight further
So I donate money and vote for Corbett and I don’t get anything I supported and my taxes go up OR I keep my money and have the democrat win and wind up with the same result. At least I have the money in my pocket for the new taxes.

Excellent summary. I’d add failing to take a leadership role in getting property tax reform addressed, although that is directly tied to the state pension crisis.
