HARRISBURG – The Corbett-Cawley campaign today drew attention to Secretary Tom Wolf’s ever-evolving excuses as to why he cannot provide the details on his plan to raise the income tax rate by 188 percent. Wolf embraces his inner-Nancy Pelosi in his latest excuse, arguing that the voters are not allowed to see what is in his tax plan until the election is over.

Reagan went with amnesty.

Yea, Reagan went with Amnesty, an Amnesty that was supposed to be the last and was supposed to put real teeth into enforcement. After it was passed, the Democrats and the Liberal Republicans refused to enforce the enforcement portions of the law and Reagan realized he had been tricked. Michael Reagan is on record, along with I believe Jim Baker, that his Dad confided in him that his Amnesty law was the biggest mistake of his career.

People make mistakes; Reagan made mistakes, but Reagan learned from his mistakes (i.e. see Reagan's learning from his mistakes with Abortion).

There is no rational, principled, or moral reason for repeating the mistakes of the past.

None.

There are, however, reasons having to do with Cronyism, the Cronyism of the Chamber of Commerce to be exact.

And once again, quit with the Deceitful, dishonest debating tactics of labeling the desires of Conservative to have principled representation as being "purity".

Grow-up and argue from an intelligent, moral, principled position, or just go someplace else.

Even Jesus affiliated with the prostitutes and criminals because he knew they were able to find salvation easier than the purist, self-righteous religious people who claimed they were the arbiters of “good” and “evil”.

Boy, you sure will try every deceitful and dishonest debating tactic in the book, won't you?!

He thought he could trust Democrats and he regretted it

It was the biggest regret of his tenure.

Yet there are FReepers who will stay home or vote third party allowing Wolf to win.

And then whine about the results.

They are not freepers, they are trolls pretending to be freepers.

They are Obama's/Pelosi's/Reed's/Wasserman-Schultz' wet dream.

THE TIME FOR ARGUMENTS WITHIN THE PARTY IS DURING THE PRIMARIES. IF YOU WANT MORE CONSERVATIVES TO GAIN THE SPOT IN THE STATE OR NATIONAL ELECTION, THEN MAKE SURE THEY WIN THE PRIMARY. AFTER THAT, DON’T WHINE, PLEASE. ANY REPUBLICAN IS BETTER THAN EVERY DEM. Sorry about the shouting, but we really don’t have the time to let the Dems continue to control this country. It is getting too late to reverse course.

In two years, these same people will be complaining about their taxes going up.

There are two types that will counsel people to stay home; the highly principled purists who are rightly sick of the GOP-e and the trolls who are here in some numbers. I don’t like serving the purposes of the democrats or the GOP-e but I really hate the trolls.

And there is an even greater number of Trolls counseling Freepers to vote for the candidate with an R next to their name no matter how much they may act like a Democrat.

I really hate the trolls as well. Especially those here at the behest of the GOP-E.

That argument is no longer valid given the history of Thad Cochran in Mississippi and the actions of the Leadership of the GOP-E (i.e. McConnell and others) during the primaries.

Its hard to imagine the logic of the democrats trolling freepers to vote GOP-e but its your conspiracy theory so I’ll leave you to it.

That, in a nutshell, is what voting is about. It's not about voting for the lesser of two evils.

sometimes....in fact every time, that's exactly what it is. I have yet to see a candidate....maybe Reagen, who agreed with 100% of what I stood for...these are people, not clones of ourselves. The difference between the views of Romney and Obame were extraordinary, a very easy choice as far as I wqas concerned. Did Romney fill my every need, no, but Obama filled NONE of my needs. I'll take 50% VS 0% any day. I am 100% against abortion, but with a Republican in office, we are much more likely to see more restrictions that with a Demo there. Supreme court nominations, for example.

Corbett is going to lose, and it is the fault of the entire PA GOP.

The GOP had the governorship, PA House, and PA Senate.

All they had to do was three things: (1) privatize liquor sales, (2) reform or eliminate property taxes as a method of funding public schools, and (3) reform the public employee/teachers pension system.

None of these are simple things, granted, but if just these three things were addressed in some way, Corbett would be trouncing Wolf. I can't totally blame Corbett. The legislature is to blame too.

There aren’t enough freepers that will make a difference in this race. Corbett built a wall and hid behind it. He failed to run for a second term. the republican house raised the gasoline tax for crying out loud. his campaign ad says “everyone wanted that” how stupid is that. gave a complete idiot enough cannon fodder to wipe out the little good he did. he doesn’t deserve a second term after that crap. he probably feels guilty about not stopping the penn state mess. he looses by 10%

Nitey, children....I rest my case. Fools such as yourselves allow the likes of Harry Reid to control our destiny.

Just keep those blinders on, as you enjoy what you have reaped.
