Ga is red, but Atlanta is deep blue. Atlanta population is growing faster than the non Atlanta population.
Atlanta’s main claim to fame is the home of MLK.
Yes its a problem. Every black that can get on a bus, train or plane tries to move here because of Martin Luther King and half of NY has moved here to Atlanta. Outside of Atlanta its pretty conservative and rural. So far we have a total GOP majority in the state house, Two RINO senators, RINO Gov, GOP LT Gov, SOS and AG.
Atlanta is 70% relocated outsiders bringing their blue with them. Urban areas are almost exclusively blue, and Atlanta is growing - tipping the state overall voting pattern.
Georgia isn’t looking good. Perdue turned out to be a poor candidate. He could still win this thing, though.
At the risk of bragging, I supported Karen Handel in the primary and Jack Kingston in the runoff.
Same here, I'm disappointed by his win, but his faults are not as important as is taking control of the Senate out of Harry Reid's despicable hands. The most crucial thing in this election is getting control of the Senate while there may still be enough time to save us from full-blown socialism that Obama and his cohorts are determined to force on us like it or not.
Obama may have only 2 more years left to bring the US down to wreck and ruin as he wants us to be, but if Harry Reid and his gang of America-haters remain in control of the Senate during those 2 years it may be too late for another election cycle to save the US from what I believe is it's rapidly approaching demise as a great and powerful nation. If Obama gets his way in the time he has left the US will soon become just another insignificant, socialistic, used-to-be world power that so many members of today's college age generation seem to want us to be.
