On a previous post I called her “stupid.” I have to take that back and substitute “too trusting” now that I know she called the idiots at CDC because she was concerned. Apparently they are so bureaucratic that they looked at numbers rather than focusing on the fact that she was in contact with Duncan.
Since we know more now, I wonder if Uhbama will be stating....
“If I had another daughter, she would look like Amber....”
Seriously, I agree, though. The flag should be “from West Africa” or “with Duncan”.
I agree. She contacted who she thought were the experts and trusted the answer she received. We tend to forget we live in the age of employer attitude that employees are equal and can be taught pretty much any task to perform so long as there's a rule book to follow. I suspect that's what occurred here. A clerk looked something up on a computer, not realizing the temperature was on its way up. My normal temperature is usually lower than 98. If it gets up to the so-called normal 98.6, I usually have some kind of infection going on.

Thanks for your honesty and decency. This young woman tried to follow the CDC’s guidelines and called several times. She probably got an equal opportunity hire and was told “No Problem”!
