Yawn.
Haven’t we seen this movie before?
If I remember correctly, it doesn’t turn out well for the Jew-haters.
Maybe it has something to do with God’s promise to bless those that bless Jacob (Israel!) and curse those that curse him.
An aristocratic British diplomat railing against Jewish bankers? It sounds like something out of the 1930s. 20 or 30 years from now, the roughly 50 year period after World War II when Europe was not antisemitic will be viewed simply as an interlude between the continent’s traditional Jew hatred and persecution.
This highlights one difference between Americans who describe themselves as “Conservatives” and at least some if not a majority of the British political party of the same name. Not that the Labour Party is any better, and in fact they’re worse anti-Semites. UKIP I’m not sure about, although they’re certainly on the correct side vis a vis Brussels and the Muslim occupation of certain swathes of Britain.
Thanks for the post - I love to read about how powerful I am.
Brits have been pissed off and vengeful ever since The Jews booted them out of Israel. Snobby Upper class Antisemitism is fashionable and common in England.
Thanks to the UK people who support Israel!
The problem with ambassadors and “special envoys” is that although they represent our viewpoints to the countries they have been sent to, there is also a tendency for them to represent the opinions of the host nation back to us, especially if they have been on station for a long time.
