And now, Obola has plans to send over National Guardsmen.

Somewhere in this nightmare, people need to openly defy his orders.

It only takes a few minutes to advise:

Don't go to West Africa.

Don't believe what the gov't tells you.

Don't go to Health Care facitities.

DON'T TRAVEL BY AIR.

Stay out of public places.

I'd refuse to go

Training isn't enough. The procedures have to become ingrained, and the person has to have enough experience to recognize when things aren't going as they should. The care workers also have to be ENCOURAGED to speak up.

This is a real bad idea.

“For soldiers at Fort Campbell and Fort Bragg preparing for their deployments to West Africa, Mobile Training Teams from the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID), based out of Fort Detrick, have been tasked with instructing them on Ebola protocols.

A team of two can train as many as 50 personnel over that four-hour time frame, USAMRIID told The Daily Beast. The training includes hands-on instruction on how to put on, remove, and decontaminate personal protective equipment, followed by a practical test to ensure that soldiers understand the procedures.”

U.S. Soldiers Get Just Four Hours of Ebola Training

Hussein wants them to come back to infect their families and friends, it's his "gift" to the military and Amerika.

4 hours is how long “diversity” training takes.

Our socialist/fascist leaders want, no desire a widespread outbreak. Then they will call for Marshal law. Many who oppose the left will themselves in camps with those who have the virus. They will never be heard from again.......

How much time does it take to train someone to shoot anyone who attempts to leave a town or village and to burn bodies w/gasoline.

They already know how to shoot so it must be use of the match causing problems.

“U.S. Soldiers Get Just Four Hours of Ebola Training”

So! In just five minutes of reading how the nurse student in Liberia successfully cared for four family member, three of whom survived, and never contracted the disease herself, was about all I need. Throw in another five minutes to review what MSF does. Multiple layers of protection all over, and extremely cautions removal of layers, never touching a surface which may have touched contaminated fluids.

More than I expected president ebola to allow.

Bring Out Your Dead

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

It may not be appropriate to get personal with 0bama on this issue but every member of our military he’s ordered to West Africa into the Ebola zone has family.

With the meager 4 hour training program it tells me he doesn’t give a whit about their safety and I consider it not just insane but evil.

Would he for one second consider letting Natasha and Malia accompany these troops even if they wanted desperately to do so?

I think not!

When I was on active duty I received hundreds of hours of training and hands on use of NBC procedures. If they are still training soldiers in NBC procedures, then 4 hours of specific training is probably sufficient. If all they are getting is 4 hours then it is not enough.
