I don’t have a military background, but those uniforms in the picture look pretty sloppy to me.
My father was in the NG, and, as a child, I remember how military he looked in is regular fatigues (this would have been early 70s). Shirt tucked in with belt, polished boots.
The soldiers in the pic on the site look like hospital orderlies with camo scrubs. I guess I haven’t been paying all that much attention to military uniforms, but I know from experience in the business world that when you are dressed well, you carry yourself better and generally act more professional. I would think that would apply to the military as well.

I kind of like having women assigned as guards. If the women are too weak to handle the prisoners, then give them guard dogs. We should never lose an opportunity to show who is making the rules. You don't break someone down by giving respect to their sensibilities.

I guess after spending 30 years in the military and retiring many years ago (1997) we had different TTPs (Read: Tactics Techniques and Procedures) for behavior modification of POWs. How times have changed.
Female soldiers are “equal” to male soldiers unless...they’re guarding muslim prisoners.

Back in my naive days, I had a new boss. He was muslim. First day, he walked into my office to introduce himself and informed me he didn’t like me. I didn’t realize at that time muzzies don’t like women, especially left handed women. A short time later, a client gave me a couple of watermelons out of his garden so I decided to offer one to the boss as a peace offering. When I stretched out my arms to hand it to him, he jumped backwards as it if were a snake. He yelled no! and ran out the door. He made everyone’s life hell and we all quit. He would twist everything and lie. Then he’d claim projects were never turned in. The big mucky mucks always supported him despite proof. I tried to outlast him but just couldn’t but was the last to hang it up. HQ had the nerve to threaten holding my last paycheck because he accused me of emptying all my files. Evil monster.
A worker from another unit had invited some of us to her house once and her husband refused to be there because there would be a lot of women in the house. They were muslim. That was the only time she invited any of us over and she didn’t go out with us after that.
