I roll my own and have for about a year now. I went through quite a few different brands but my recommendation is do not buy pipe tobacco to roll cigarettes with no matter what the cost. Cigarette tobacco is a little more but definitely tastes better. I live in PA and buy Gambler Gold cigarette tobacco in a large bag for $25 a bag. The bag is big enough to roll two cartons with. In terms of tubes I use Texas Roll em. They’re cheap, $1.87 for 200 and reliable. In terms of the machine to roll them with I would suggest the Premier Supermatic. One time cost of about $35 but well worth it. Solid metal, good design, has held up very well. Hope that helps.
