GOP candidate discovers voting machine casts his vote for the Democrat he is running against

The Democrat mantra that voting fraud is rare takes another blow today with the stunning story of a GOP candidate unable to vote for himself in Cook County Illinois. The Illinois Political Review reports:

Admitting his confidence in Cook County ballot integrity is shaken, State Representative Candidate Jim Moynihan (R-56), was shocked today when he tried to cast a vote for himself and the voting machine cast it for his opponent instead.

“While early voting at the Schaumburg Public Library today, I tried to cast a vote for myself and instead it cast the vote for my opponent,” said Moynihan. “You could imagine my surprise as the same thing happened with a number of races when I tried to vote for a Republican and the machine registered a vote for a Democrat."

While using a touch screen voting machine in Schaumburg, Moynihan voted for several races on the ballot, only to find that whenever he voted for a Republican candidate, the machine registered the vote for a Democrat in the same race. He notified the election judge at his polling place and demonstrated that it continued to cast a vote for the opposing candidate’s party. Moynihan was eventually allowed to vote for Republican candidates, including his own race. It is unknown if the machine in question (#008958) has been removed from service or is still in operation.

“It is unknown if the machine in question (#008958) has been removed from service or is still in operation.”

It’s Cook County...
The question answers itself.

Some people call it “Crook County”.

The Chicago Way. What did he expect. They cheat! That’s why they hate voter ID laws, that’s why they infiltrate the elections staff, that’s why the unions are out front distracting and intimidating you.

They CHEAT. To win, a Republican has to have greater than a 5-7% advantage going it. That’s a fact.

It's one of those things that everyone knows is happening.
Those who deny it are in on it.

It doesn't matter. Voting machines #000001-#008957, and #008958-#100000 work the same way.

Well, there is a yellow wire and a green wire....... reverse them and voila a republican vote becomes a democrat vote.

Don’t reverse the orange and blue wires though..... that will create Republican votes.

No, we only shift wires on 3 % of the machines. That does the job

Any state which puts it’s trust in the voting machine industry is part of the problem.

When you have a federal and state governments which are out of control, the FIRST benefit which the people will lose is free and fair elections.

“There is no such thing as voter fraud. It’s just a lie perpetrated by those evil Koch bros.”.

Thank you, and

Good night.

Yet another reason why the rest of the state needs to secede from Crook County.

I am firmly convinced that this type of fraud played a role in the last election. But don’t be alarmed they will only use this tactic until they are able to flood the polls with another 30 million or so low information non-English speaking Democrats.

This shows you how desperate the Quinn, Madigan, Durbin cabal is to remain in power.

This is exactly why Republicans may be in for a big surprise in November. I wouldn’t be surprised if Soros money has already determined the winners and Republicans are not going to like it.

That is why everybody who doesn’t like Obama, Soros, and the Unionista/Dem machine must get out and vote for Republicans — even for RINOS. Polls are open now in Wisconsin and in many other states.

And don’t give me any BS about how both parties are the same. They are NOT the same. Maybe the GOP isn’t as pure as some would like it to be, but it is a darned sight better than the DNC.

Fully agree. The failure of Republicans to vote and those that voted Independent in the last Governor’s race is why Virginia is living under the tyranny of a Democratic carperbagger.
