RUSH: Monica Lewinsky, speaking of rejection, let me tell you something. It's about time that somebody -- well, this is gonna be hard, because, look, there's a plausible explanation for her being messed up. You know that long, detailed monologue I did on the day we had that blockbuster story that WMD's were found in Iraq and that Karl Rove and people in the White House had made an active political decision to cover up the discovery ...
So, in a certain sense, Monica Lewinsky has been a victim of similar things with what the Democrat Party and the willing allies in the media did to her in order to save Bill Clinton. But at the same time, there's been enough time go by -- I mean, she made a speech yesterday at some Forbes thing for women or people under 30 to talk about whatever they talk about. And she was just lamenting how the Internet destroyed her life. How Matt Drudge destroyed her life and the New York Post called her the Portly Pepper Pot, or some such thing. She clearly isn't over it, despite every attempt to make people think she's over it. But the thing that strikes me about it, Matt Drudge didn't do anything to her. Bill Clinton! And she's admitting, by the way, she was in love with the guy now.
~~snip~~
She didn't get invited to this Forbes thing because Hillary's running for president. Well, that's because nobody cares about a Monica Lewinsky pocketbook or a Monica Lewinsky watch or a Monica Lewinsky scarf. That's not what she's known for. She's known for what she did with her mouth. And as long as she's using her mouth, she's going to be news, whether she's speaking or playing with cigars or whatever. ...

That Clinton Death List is all Clinton.
I think that when Drudge broke this story, it was among the first big news stories reported by the internet news, as opposed to the major networks or newspapers.
Later on, we learned that the Washington Post and Newsweek had the Lewinsky story for months, but were sitting on it. They refused to report it, presumeably because they are liberal, and didn’t want to hurt a Democrat president.
Monica needs to understand that her own behavior with a prominent man such as the president, is what ruined her life. Yes the media picked up the story and ran with it. And she was part of that fallout. But if she had not gotten involved with Clinton in the first place, her life would not have been impacted the way it was.
Mary Mahoney, too, interned at the WH and know Monica PERSONALLY.
As the months of the Monica Mess dragged on, Mary repeatedly mentioned to her friends she'd soon do something to HELP Monica and the many other "Bimbo Eruptions".
Mary got a job managing a Starbucks in Georgetown, but men broke in at close, herded the 3 employees and Mary into the refrigerator and shot all of them to death.
Mary was shot FIVE TIMES in the head, and NO CASH WAS TAKEN and NO SHOTS WERE HEARD.
My memory is that her mom encouraged her to do exactly what she did.
wow doesnt that take me back a couple of years.
this story has not as far as I know ever gotten the big coverage it deserves.
Thank you.
FR was smaller at the time of the Monica Mess, but it wasn’t tiny.
It was eerie —Drudge had it and so did we, but it was as if the ENTIRE MSM was trapped in some kind of parallel universe, existing side-by-side with us, yet totally unaware of us.
Every day here, we had dozens of consummate experts well-versed in the tiniest aspects of the evolving case. People were putting in DOZENS, almost hundreds of links. Arguing back and forth, correcting each other, cooking up leads for journalists.
YET NOTHING.
Finally the National Enquirer —yes, of Alien Space Baby Found in Watermelon! fame— did a story or two, and believe it or not, we REJOICED.
FINALLY the huge dam started showing tiny fissures, and it broke.
We had been screaming ourselves hoarse for so long in the silence that it finally seemed impossible that ANYONE would take up the story.
But it finally all came out.
I had already deeply distrusted the US MSM, but after the 8 or so MONTHS of total MSM silence regarding Monica, I will never again trust them even a tiny scintilla.
Drag a dollar through a trailer park...
Tune into Dennis Miller on other channels than Rush in the PM.
I remember this story. This girl is among a big group of people in the Clinton orbit, who died under mysterious circumstances.
The big focus was always on Vince Foster and Ron Brown, but there have been many others in the Clinton circle who have died. I remember I once saw a lengthy list online of the people.
WH intern Mary Mahoney's body carried out of Georgetown Starbucks triple murder scene.
How sad.
Monica was once front page news, and now people say “Monica who?”
A pitiful attempt to be relevant with a clumsy attempt at rewriting history.
This will so backfire on Hillary, people would like to forget that sordid episode in our nation’s history.
another flashback of note..
Thank you
I’m surprised Monica hasn’t “mysteriously” vanished by now.
That crime I had not heard about. Kathleen Willey and her missing then dead cat being used as a threat I remember, but not this.
Her whole rationale is absurd. She claims her “privacy” was violated because what she was doing was merely reported...like it was just nothing out of the ordinary and she got singled out. Nonsense - she was having an affair with the President of the United States in the White House, was under investigation by Federal prosecutors for committing perjury as a witness in a Federal lawsuit and pressuring another witness to also commit perjury - even encouraging her to deliberately injure herself so would have to be under medical care to avoid testifying if I’m remembering correctly from the content on those tapes.
Never happen, at least by any operative acting on behalf of Bill or Hillary. As Rush said in his monolog, the Clinton-Lewinsky affair is looked upon these days as "cool" by young people. Morals have changed/degraded so that there is no stigma.
Juanita Broaddrick
No, the thong-snapper had no responsibility for her own actions, and it is sexist for anyone to suggest otherwise.
