To: Cincinatus' Wife

We’ve had a voter ID law in Michigan since 1996 and we’ve never been sued by the Justice Department. But then again Michigan has gone Democratic in the Presidential elections since 1992, so obviously the Voter ID law isn’t stopping Democrats from voting here.

I wouldn’t have a problem if they just got rid of an ID being required for picking up narcotic drugs at the drug store, requiring an ID for getting a hunting license, and no ID for getting married. All or nothing deal.

Yes, but in MI you can sign an affidavit (without an ID) and still cast your vote.
