U.S. airstrikes have killed 521 militants

Not 520, not 525 but exactly 521.

Reminds me of how they took the body counts in 'Nam.

In 'Nam, we wiped out the NVA 4 Times. Until they came rolling into Saigon in 1975.

Better step up those strikes - only 19,500 - 30,500 to go - quick math problem - at these strike rates, how many more strikes will it take to get the remainder?

“...the “vast majority” of militants killed by the airstrikes were foreign fighters who came to the country to join one of the two Islamist groups.”

Oh happy day!

Kurdistan Region overwhelmingly approved the proposal to send its Peshmerga to support under-armed Kurdish fighters in Kobane.

“This is a big turning point in Kurdish history,” said the speaker of the Kurdish Parliament. Secretary-General of the Ministry of Peshmerga could not reveal the number of soldiers for security reasons, it would be a “small” unit of Peshmerga forces with heavy weapons.

Parliament passed the vote with the support of all political parties on Wednesday afternoon, with members of parliament bursting into applause and singing of the national anthem upon its approval.
