It’s nice to see the comments here. I don’t know how I missed this earlier. Bobby overcame serious tradgedies in his life. His family is very proud of him. My mom is his Godmother and I am his 1st cousin. We will be at his interment ceremony at Arlington.

“Duty. Honor. Country.”

Even typing it makes me misty.

May God bless all of CSM Gallagher's family & friends. Both my parents and my uncle & aunt are interred at Arlington. It is a beautiful & moving final resting place.

I know there likely is a delay of 4-5 months for noncombat in-ground burials (remains or cremains), less if cremaims are inurned in the columbarium. Also determined by whether the Chapel is used and the level of honors requested.

Best wishes.
