Nevada is the Best State in America

College is getting more expensive. Tuition plus room and board at a four-year institution cost more than $23,000, on average, in the 2011-2012 school year, according to the National Center for Education Statistics, about $10,000 a year more than the price tag in 1991-1992.

Paying for college takes a lot of planning, scrimping and saving. And no state does more to help its citizens save for their children’s future than Nevada.

Our state is nothing but a God-forsaken searing 118 degrees Fahrenheit desert hellhole where glowing radioactive slime pumps out of your faucet and the meth-cooking Indian skinheads will rape your dog if you even stop for fuel while passing through, and that's only if the pimps and pickpocketing whores don't murder you first. The air is filled with asbestos dust and the landscape is nothing but rolling poisonous tumbleweeds that will give you AIDS if they touch you.

Nevada is by far the worst place anyone could possibly imagine living. Stay OUT. Do you hear me? Stay OUT. The only reason I live here is to warn you all to stay away because it is too late for me.

Can some Californians still attend University of Nevada as residents?

I was stationed in Nevada when I was in the Navy. I loved it, and would like to go back some day. I bought a gun in a liquor store that also sold guns. What a state!

That is bunk. Curious after your remark, I used the googles on the last few Authors I have read. Brad Thor (USC), Frank Peretti (UCLA) and Tolkien (Oxford)would disagree. And I only looked up three.

Don’t forget Area 51...

One of the highlights of our vacation last year was finding the back gate of Area 51. My 12YO son can't stop talking about it.

A must place to stop at is the Little Ale'in Inn in Rachel. Great chili!

There's a nature preserve about an hour south, can't remember the name. I found it fascinating, an oasis in the middle of the desert.

I really enjoy driving from Dallas to Reno: Route 66/I40, Southern Utah/Northern AZ, just so much to see and do.
