May or may not have anything to do with anything, but where did the Trail of Tears end?

This wikipedia map shows several Trails of Tears ending pretty far from OKC in eastern OK. But after the forced march, the various tribes would have been moved into their allotted territories, which included modern OKC.

But I think the current troubles have more to do with Oklahoma being a very Christian area now.
