I wasn’t at it but yes it was one of those weird moments. Being a Yankee fan that would make sense you were there for that one. He had a painting commissioned commemorating that and it hung in a bar (long since gone now) in downtown Toronto and I went to that bar a lot. No Idea where the painting is now.

Indeed but while there are exceptions for the most part the best team usually does win. Post season is supposed to be a crucible which tests the best teams to rise to the occasion.

I have no dog in this game but whenever I pick a team I get emotional. I have to turn off the radio, take a shower and go out for a brew and dinner. Tomorrow is another day—the favorite line of the Wall Street Journal. They are right, leave it at your front door and live to see another day.
