So you are saying the Marshals should walk up and kiss a murderer?

The marshal said that Frein proned out on the ground, as ordered.

I guess in Mexico, the United States, and other third world countries, it's OK to give a helpless suspected perp a concrete face massage.

First world countries, not so much.

Hey, you got OT, a vacation from your usual area of operations, and experience dealing with peasant insurgents in the operation - what's not to like? LOL! :)

BTW - when did you guys convict Frein, anyway?

Now, don't get me wrong - I believe he's guilty, too - but I'm not a court of American law.

I also believe he should receive a speedy trial, and a speedy execution if convicted, instead of the shilly-shallying that goes on these days.

I also believe that OTHER murderers in Pennsylvania, and other states, should fry swiftly. A bullet back behind the barn is cheapest, I always say.

The injuries to his face look extremely minor. Nobody beat him, he looks too good. Some of that might be from running around in the woods too. He's been leaving blood all over the countryside.

As far as a trial goes, there most likely won't be one. He will plead guilty trying to get a lighter sentence. Too much evidence against him for premeditated murder.

From a local story:

Photos showed him to have a cut on his nose and bruises on his face.

[Deputy Marshal] Malkowski says that happened as he secured Frein on an asphalt runway.

"Sometimes when we take people in to custody, we have to take drastic measures, especially when he killed a fellow officer. We weren't messing around, we meant business," said [Deputy Marshal] Malkowski.

He was already proned, Malkowski. A little payback ("especially when he killed a fellow officer")?

Wonder if some sleazeball raped my daughter, if I could bail him out and then rough him up some as payback (he said he was gonna jump bail, Mr. DA!)?

I'm sure the local prosecutor would be all understanding, and stuff.

NOT

Sounds like they need to throttle back on the third-world policing stuff.

Say, why'd they ship you in to PA from Washington state?

Saw Frein in person from about 3 feet away the morning of the arraignment.... I’ve been more bruised from a soccer match than he was.

Yep... and not going to let knee-jerk anti-LEO fools bully me off the threads.

You're the one who had absolutely no problem with an overzealous law enforcement officer roughing up and putting a knee in the back of a guy who merely looked like Eric Frein. It took a REAL law enforcement officer to put a stop to the abuse.

You have zero objectivity.

No, frankly I didn’t believe him. If his story WAS true and he was “roughed up”, I am sure he will have hospital records to prove it and will get a nice lawsuit settlement.

As I said - zero objectivity. You're a TOTAL police partisan.

They could have curb-stomped Frein, and with his brains leaking out his ears, you would have declared (like state police commissioner Let's-Not-Be-Frank Noonan): "'Tis but a scratch, and he prolly curb-stomped himself in the woods earlier..."

It's hyperbole, which I freely admit - unlike some others... LOL! :)

That's my line, Big Toe. You'd like me in person, Bandit. I'm very large, a good shot, and I don't beat up prisoners. LOL! :)

Here's Tamzee's "advice" for the peasant who kept getting rousted by the LEOs:

Sorry, I don’t buy it. Looks like a manufactured “woe is me” narrative designed to squeeze a lottery settlement from the police. Now the poor, delicate flower of a man even has trouble sleeping...

Here’s a thought for the 39 year old who can’t afford a car, says he can’t even afford to pay gas for someone to give him a ride and apparently has no friends or family willing to drive him. Give up your apartment or wherever you are paying rent, move in with your folks in Bushkill which is only a few minutes away from Canadensis, use their car to get to work at night since they can’t drive in the dark anyways, and save the unused rent money to buy a car. With a car, get a better job or a second one, a cheap apartment... set an example for your kids, if nothing else.

Translation: "Eat Obama sh*t, peasant. The King's Men are always right, even if they're not. Meanwhile, we have crimes by Joe Biden's boy to overlook."

No, that’s not what I said. I see folks like that around here who have just made a lifetime of bad choices and quite often blame their poor outcome on everyone else but themselves. Maybe that is him, maybe not. But given the comparison of his pathetic story versus what I saw in the professionalism and consideration of the public by the searchers, I will not automatically believe his accusation without proof.

You and your buddies are the ones with zero objectivity, calling the searchers “gun-thugs” and comparing the situation here with us being under martial law. And then calling me a “bootlicker” because I live here, had several interactions with the searchers and told you that wasn’t the case.
