Delaware TV gets the hottest U.S. Senate campaign ad: Chris Coons Ebola Zone!

Kevin Wade's campaign ad (titled "Ebola Zone") begins airing on Delaware television Thursday, October 30, on broadcast TV and cable. The ad can also be viewed at:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkNzyGDy7AM

Incumbent Democrat Freshman Chris Coons is the Chair of the Africa Subcommittee in the Democrat-controlled U.S. Senate.

Thus, Republican Kevin Wade accuses Coons of failing to perform his job for Delaware and the nation over the preceding year since the Ebola outbreak began in the Fall of 2013.

Wade alleges that Senator Coons is the Democrats' and Senate's #1 voice on Africa as well as eyes and ears. On a question of competence in Washington, Wade challenges Coons for failing to take a leadership role early in 2014 not only raising an alert but also developing solutions since late 2013.

Wade's campaign ad accuses Coons of playing politics with Africa and Ebola rather than taking prudent actions to protect Delaware citizens. Delaware is the host to Dover Air Force base and a major sea port.

Kevin Wade, a self-made business man, believes he can take and put the Delaware U.S. Senate seat solidly in the “R” column.

Historically the Delaware U.S. Senate seat is won with approximately 150,000 total votes. The race will likely hinge on about 8,000 voters changing their voting pattern on the General Election Day. It is projected that the Republican turnout will be 10% higher and 10% lower for the Democrats. That leaves 8,000 voters to be convinced to swing this U.S. Senate Republican on November 4th.

This is the seat formerly held by now Vice President Joe Biden. That alone must have Delaware Republicans energized.

Hope this goes viral—pun intended.

This could do for 2014 what the LBJ “daisy” commercial did in fifty years ago.

She’s not even a CDC nurse. More of a data gatherer/checker/analyst. CDC’s version of a CIA field analyst.

Hope it helps Republicans! Yes, go viral. And, make an ad with sound bites of the protesting nurse.

I’d change the part where it says “Why doesn’t Coons stop Ebola”? It sounds like he’s some kind of God refusing to end it. Change it to “Why doesn’t Coons Quarantine Ebola?” That is something Coons could do. Otherwise the ad is good.

MUST SEE TV

Bring out your dead! The Dark Man cometh! Bring out your dead! The Dark Man cometh! Bring out your......

(Since all records of obama's past were lost in a tragic boating accident and fire, no one can be certain that the guy in the red circle isn't him...)

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

It’s a “daisy” commercial all right... but the press won’t pick up on it. I believe the ‘daisy’ was only shown once on TV (as a paid ad) then repeated as ‘news’ hundred - maybe thousands of times....

Kevin Wade does not have to match Chris Coons dollar for dollar. Kevin Wade only needs sufficient money to get his message out.

We are hearing that internal polling shows Kevin Wade 5 points ahead in Kent County, slightly ahead in Sussex County, and lagging only in New Castle County.

However, there is no reason for Democrats to vote this year. There is no candidate to drive Democrats to the polls.

So if dispirited Democrats stay home, the election results will be very different from the polls.

JM, I hope the Sussex County results on Tuesday will be much better than “slightly ahead”.

This is a conservative county, and the GOP historically does well here.

Coons has been a Reid/Obama lackey from his first day in the lame duck session of 2010. He will not endorse a travel ban for West African arrivals.

I have called his office many times over the last four years kowing it is useless, but, hey, I am paying for this party, so he will hear from me.

Kevin Wade is an engineer, a businessman, and a job creator. He was superb in the TV debate with Coons.

Coons was employed by his wife’s parents company, then became New Castle County administrator. His accomplishments were touted in the 2010 election, until one week after the election, we found that the media sat on the fact he actually left NCC with a $1 million deficit.

This seat would be a great pick-up for the GOP Senate majority and it is doable.
