Somebody should remind that Commie Pig Woman Hating Harkin that Ted Kennedy was the guy that started the War on Women.

Unlike Harkin, Teddy didn’t leave any Witnesses.

Odd choice of ‘words’.

Isn’t that the reason ‘they’ voted for BO

Smells good, attractive, speaks well, articulate etc.

If ANY R had made a casual remark that a Black should be voted for because he ‘smelled good and was articulate’ he/she would have been run out of town.

Believe the ‘author’ of the two above statements are now VP and Sen Majority Leader.

Trent Lott got run off the Reservations for saying Strom Thurmond may have been right in ‘48(??) FWIW, I think he was a D then also????

A year later Dick Durban said that Robert Byrd would have made a good president, and nobody said a word.

I agree we obviously have deep problems here. But women candidates like Joni Ernst could be the salvation of the GOP and all of us. Smart women and not Chrstine O’Donnell and Sharon Angle types.

We’ve got to play our own version of identity politics. We need to find Joni Ernst candidates at all levels. And if we nominate a white male, it needs to be someone younger, smarter and not bombastic. I.e. people like Scott Walker.

The days of the Todd Akin and Mitch McConnell types have to be over. The younger and more diverse America won’t give a white male over the age of 50 a look unless that person is massively, massively charismatic and smart.

Also “Sheets” Byrd calling people White N......s didn’t even raise an eyebrow....

OF all people to ‘get away’ with that ‘word’ - someone who ACTUALLY used it in real life, knew the meaning and knew the ramifications of it.

Understand a lot of people ‘used’ the word in the ‘hateful’ manner it was supposed to represent but a lot used it because they could get a ‘rise’ out of people...

Funny the use of it didn’t dwindle till the offended parties started making a REAL issue of it....

Remember when Mark Furman was ACCUSED of using the term many years earlier and it ruined his credibility..turned out he may have when as a LA Detective he had visited a Former Marine Buddy (Black) at a Recruiting Office and after some high fives and shakes called him ‘My N.....’ .. Yet Cochran & crew made that incident out to be Furman ran around using the word towards people like you and I use the.

Don’t be fooled by Hillary Clinton who isn’t very attractive” and doesn’t sound nice.

And ignore the blood on her hands

Go away Tom. Maybe the best thing about this midterm is that this old commie-lover is retiring. And he doesn’t get to choose his successor, the people of Iowa do.

Yes, Joni is attractive; and Harkin is vile and ugly.

And as we say here on FR, ugly is to the bone!

In 2008 too bad no one said - don’t be fooled by Obama, who appears to be clean and well spoken. That was actually a talking point for Lunchbox Joe.

Being a 100-mission fairy pilot takes tuff stuff. Now that he’s retiring, maybe Tom will join his Primo Daniel in Nicaragua.
