“Take Your Best Shot”, Was The Marine Guarding The Canada National War Memorial Real?

Ottawa Canada – Since the terrorist attack in Canada that took the life of CPL. Nathan Cirillo, a guy in a Marine uniform sporting five Purple Hearts has been guarding the Canadian National War memorial. The below interview was done with him, and we began getting emails and wall posts from everyone wanting to know if he was really a Marine.

He goes by the name of Major “Fox” Sinke, and he stated, Courtesy of Global News:

“ “That’s how I see it. So I’m paying tribute to him, as best I can. We are not intimidated. Take your best shot.”

Sinke was wearing a Marine uniform as he marched around the National War Memorial.

“There are those of us who understand what’s happening and we’re not gonna lie down for it,” he said. “Not gonna happen. That’s basically why I’m here. I’m just here to make my own little personal damn statement.”

So we did some digging and reached out to our contacts to find out more about Major Sinke, and we can tell you that not only did this man serve as a Marine, he was a highly decorated Marine! He is taking a stand for what he believes is right, and yes he has five Purple Hearts. This man is a true American and Canadian Hero, we salute you Sir and the stand you are taking!!!

Below are his records: -excerpt-

Again, we salute Major Sinke for his stand at the National War Memorial in Canada, and for his service to both of our countries. Major Sinke has also authored several books detailing his experiences in the Vietnam War, one is titled When None Of Their Dreams Are Dead.

Doesn’t mean he did then.
He lives in Ontario now.

The basis of the article was that he was an imposter. If he isn’t, I apologize to the man.

Medal match, Platoon Leader, Wings OK, generally outstanding record. With so many John Kerry types (Read Burkett’s STOLEN VALOR)why would anyone pick on an old, proud Marine? Geez... Maybe he’s not a hero like Jian Gomeshi, Lena Dunham or the “Spooktacular” Ottawa GHB date rapists?

So...what?

Did it occur to you that his dual citizenship may have been granted AFTER his service in the USMC?

I don’t see where it is claimed anywhere that he was a dual citizen during his service, only that he is NOW a dual citizen.

I only posted what I found...because the OP has been making some comments that infer the man is a fraud.

Unless and until verifiable PROOF of fraud is presented, I am not making any judgement either way...yet.

However, if no proof of fraud is forthcoming, then it is what it is...an honorable man, a USMC veteran is standing up and making a statement.

One that I am fully behind and support.

Seriously, you’re going to stand on that?

The link leads to a website that exposes frauds and details their investigation and findings supporting the fact that he is the real deal. What article did you read?

no, the basis of the article was validating his claim to those that thought otherwise

STATE MEDIA ALERT:

ATTACK WITHOUT PAUSE THE US MARINE MAJOR HONORING THE CANADIAN NCO WHO WAS KILLED ON HONOR GUARD.

PONDER AND SYMPATHIZE WITH THE DEEPEST INSECURE SENTIMENTS AND INTERNAL FRUSTRATIONS OF THE ISLAMIC “WARRIOR,” BETRAYED BY INADEQUATE SOCIAL SERVICES, WHO SHOT AN UNARMED MAN IN THE BACK.

PRAISE EFFORTS OF CAN-AM GURU JOHN KERRY, THE ONE MOST IMPORTANT MAN IN THE SCENARIO, WHOSE LIES AND FALSIFICATIONS WOULD HAVE HAD HIM BLOWN OUT OF THE US MARINES IN A WEEK.

My CIC was Eisenhower, and things must’ve changed since I put my Ike jacket away. I would not wear it today because I would simply not fit in it, but that’s not the point.

As I remember, officers started wearing chicken droppings on their cap at the rank of bird colonel.

Is this O-4 entitled to have it on his cap? I always thought it looked good.

I was looking at his posture, eyes, stance, bearing, confidence, shoulders, arms, biceps (lack of), haircut, .....

What is between his two ears is the man.

That guy ain’t ....

You don’t get medals with those eyes. Hell, you can’t even turn bolts and tighten screws and pull chainfalls with those eyes.

You don’t even know when he obtained his Canadian citizenship. Could have been after his service; but by God trash the guy manly doggy. BTW, since you are so worldly about trashing this guy, why aren’t you on capital hill about our REAL current problem named obama?

'A US commissioned officer may not hold citizenship other than the US.... 10USC 532 (a)(1)'

I'm not sure that was always the case. I could be wrong, but I don't think that Rick Rescorla was naturalized until sometime after Ia Drang.

I went to the Marine Corps Basic School (all newly commissioned Marine Officers go to the Basic School in Quantico Va) in 1981 and we had a Canadian in my company. So maybe the rules have changed in the years since.
