Apparently, the winner in American Samoa is the daughter of the late former Gov. Peter Tali Coleman, the only successful GOPer, Aumua Amata Coleman Radewagen. She’s been a perennial candidate for Congress for 2 decades, this being her 11th time she’s run, which obviously must be a record to being finally successful.

This will make her the first female Pacific Islander/Polynesian Republican member of Congress (in fact, she may be the first Polynesian woman elected to Congress, period. I believe the women elected from Hawaii were all of Asian descent and the woman representing Guam is White).
Harold Stassen Alert. Harold wins in American Samoa!
Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI-02) is a Polynesian woman (Samoan). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tulsi_Gabbard
