Its CNN, they are kinda slow.
I just heard on CNN that the Democrats just did not energize their liberal base and they didn’t show up.
Remember when they refused to admit that the GOP had turned on their base?
Oh my, CNN just doesn’t think that Obama has been liberal enough.

I just heard CNN’s Dana Bash express her brilliance in observing that independent Angus King may caucus with the Republicans (after having caucused with the Democrats in the past.) She portrayed this as a wise move on the part of King that would give him enhanced power and importance. Excuse me, Ms. Bash, but just as you didn’t see the GOP surge coming, you don’t seem to get that they now have a majority in the Senate now with room to spare. Why would a 53 or 54 seat GOP Senate concede anything to King to get an effective 54th or 55th vote? Are you nuts?

Interesting that Fox was tracking the number of seats in the Senate the ‘pubs had picked up, while CNN was tracking the number they still had to pick up to win the Senate (hoping no doubt they would never get to that number) - glass half full half empty sort of thing......
