Posted on 11/04/2014 9:40:28 PM PST by Livfreeordi
Wow! Now THIS wasn't supposed to happen, looks like there are VERY VERY few bright spots for the Democrats tonight.
Sooooooooooo bad that even Rachel Maddow has to admit its a WAVE election.

Kris Kobach won too, our no-holds-barred Sec of State.

Our next Governor, perhaps?

Fantastic! Why was Brownback “in trouble” as the network pundits kept chattering about?

It’s a WAVE? No, it’s a TSUNAMI !!!! ;)
To: Crazieman
It’s a pity that Kobach isn’t your Governor instead of amnesty loving Brownback.

Good, With our overwhelmingly conservative house and senate maybe we can loosen up our gun laws. I would love to see no permit required to conceal carry.

This is a real bellwether indicator because every poll said Brownback is a goner.

"Brownback Wins re-election in Kansas"
*$%^&*(@!!!!! I've spent WEEKS working on my "Today's results are a sad reminder of what happens when Republicans don't take my candidacy seriously and nominate senile old liberals RINOs that the public doesn't want..." speech. Now NOBODY will pay attention to my political grandstanding!!!! And I'm really screwed when Roberts doesn't live up to my "liberal RINO" smear next term! Damn you Roberts!! Cousin Barack and I will get you for this!!!

Nate Silver gave Davis an 80% chance of victory too.
After all the stuff I’ve read about the guy and his predicting fifty out of fifty in 2012, he sure bombed this year.

Fantastic! Why was Brownback in trouble as the network pundits kept chattering about?I think it was probably true. For the last month I would find several flyers a day in my mailbox for Roberts and Brownback slamming Orman and Davis. There was lots of money spent pulling these wins out.

Do you think Roberts would have won without Wolf voters?
To: LT Brass Bancroft

Fantastic! Why was Brownback in trouble as the network pundits kept chattering about? The major media markets: Kansas City, Lawrence, Topeka, and Wichita were subject to nonstop electioneering by the print and broadcast press against Brownback. In the end, Davis only won 7 counties including the Democrat stronghold of Wyandotte, Douglas, home of University of Kansas, Shawnee, home to state worker, and Riley home of Kansas State University. Johnson County in the KC suburbs and Sedwick (Wichita) voted for Brownback.
