Excitable, sometimes, irritable a lot so thanks, knarf for the observation. I may need it for a reference someday ;^)
Glad you appreciated the report. I spent the day at the Fredericksburg Community Center and while most of the visitors stopped for a minute or two in front of each of us representing the candidates, going in they were generally a taciturn group.
I did begin to notice in the early afternoon some folks exiting the building and smiling at me directly or giving me a thumbs up as they passed. I considered that an exit poll and started making room for some optimism.
It wasn’t until we arrived at the restaurant after the polls closed that we learned the victory was so complete but it didn’t really sink in until I was alone on the last leg of the journey back to the cave.
It was a great day for US all. I trust it will not turn out to be a mirage on the national level.
