Repudiation [GOP should stop "going gay"!]
Canada Free Press ^ | 05 Nov 2014 | Tim Dunkin

Posted on 11/05/2014 9:58:55 AM PST by Yashcheritsiy

To begin with, this election was, generally speaking, a rejection of the notion being advanced by many in the establishment wing of the Party that the Republicans needs to move to the Left on social issues like abortion and gay “marriage.” Earlier this year, GOP establishment leaders like Kevin McCarthy and Paul Ryan announced their plan to begin trying to recruit “Young Gun” candidates – socially liberal, and often homosexual, candidates to run under the Republican banner in an effort to “broaden the appeal” of the Party, especially to younger, socially liberal voters. John Boehner backed this effort, throwing money at the candidates who had been recruited to run this year. However, the voters who were supposed to be impressed by the GOP’s lurch to the Left on “individual choice” issues instead reacted with a collective yawn. In the race for the open seat in Massachusetts’ 6th congressional district, “Young Gun” Richard Tisei - a gay Republican who has a 100% rating from NARAL and Planned Parenthood, who (obviously) supports gay “marriage,” and who is “married” to his “partner” - lost by 15 points to a non-incumbent and relatively unknown Democrat. To give this some perspective, Tisei had ran for the same seat in 2012 against a well-known and long-time incumbent and lost by only a single point. It does not appear that Tisei’s choice to flaunt his peculiar lifestyle choice did him or the GOP any favors this time around...

Well, let’s see. I scrolled back through your posting history here ... it really didn’t take long, it isn’t extensive, just a few pages ... and I don’t see any indication that you outed yourself as homosexual before today.

In fact, I don’t see any indication of you letting on that you’re female, much less a lesbian.

You talked a bit about your “wife,” and children.

If you have children, but you’re a lesbian, how is it exactly that you have ‘been with only one person your whole life” like you claimed a couple of posts earlier in this exchange?

Just so folks know, you only made a couple of posts when you signed up in 2009, no posts at all in 2010 and most of 2011, just a couple of posts during the 2012 election, none in 2013, and only really started posting a bit more regularly this spring.

I post more around election time.. McSally just took Gabby Giffords old House seat...

There is reference before today. I very much defended the nun at the Catholic school that got ripped to shreds that spoke about homosexuality that some students and parents were offended by. Did you see that thread?

Are my posting habits all that relevant? Do you really want to know how my spouse and I have 3 kids and we have only been with each other? I’m sure you find all of this fascinating. Does it really matter? As much as you don’t like it, we probably share all the same beliefs except you think what I do in my bedroom is wrong. That is fine. That is not a fringe minority opinion. But we will both vote for the same people. Fight for the same causes. Unlike the homosexual lobby, I don’t seek a judge to force you to accept me, or teach your kids about me, or punish you because you don’t like me.

So really my question to you is why do you care so much when you have someone that should be your enemy politically, defends ideas and institutions that you believe in?

I seriously doubt that is the case.

My political ideas are founded in the laws of nature and nature's God, as America's founders called them. Our national institutions are founded in the same belief.

Homosexuality, and the acceptance of homosexuality, destroys those foundations.

So, what you're saying can't be correct.

It’s obvious that the posters on that thread didn’t know you were a lesbian. You were having a good laugh at their expense.

They assumed you were a man. And reading other of your posts it’s obvious folks assumed that same thing. Until today anyhow.

So America is only for people of whatever flavor of Christianity you belong to? If that’s case, why don’t we have a theocracy? Why does the 1st Amendment exist as written?

Am I misunderstanding you?

So America is only for people of whatever flavor of Christianity you belong to?

No. But its foundations are firmly fixed in Christian ideals. And our institutions cannot possibly endure without Christian morality.

John Adams:

"We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge or gallantry would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution is designed only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for any other."

If that’s case, why don’t we have a theocracy?

Because we have a free republic, not a theocracy.

The threat of "theocracy" is nothing more than a boogie-man of the Left.

Why does the 1st Amendment exist as written?

To protect us from governmental tyranny against our God-given rights. You know, the way government is now tyrannizing us in the name of the humanistic, godless love affair with homosexuality.

Am I misunderstanding you?

Probably.

Okay, I stand corrected. You "came out" on one thread on FR this spring.

I'm sure 99.999% of FReepers missed that, as I did. Wouldn't you say?

Actually I found one back in 2009 in a conversation regarding Megan McCain’s cleavage on facebook and John Kerrys daughter see through dress. Something about both of them being tacky but Miss McCain was easier on the eyes just before the haircut post.

We are in agreement on your latest post that included John Adams.

If you could just fill me in on why I am not included in your America.

If I may clarify or seek clarification. Homosexuals like most lib groups prefer to be identified by the group they belong to and not as an individual. I am an individual, one not associated with that group. In fact, I am opposed to it.

Do you see me as just as dangerous as those people assuming what I have said is true. Based on your questions I assume you have doubts and think I might be some gay wizard sent to infiltrate and spike the FR water with fairy dust that will turn you all into fudge packers.

My point is can you separate me from the tyrannical movement you mention or do you believe regardless of how conservative I am, I am just as dangerous as an infantacidal homosexual child molester that wants to convert your children to the same?

Just curious for the purposes for future discussions.

If you could just fill me in on why I am not included in your America.

My America, and your America, is going to be judged by God soon, if it doesn't turn back from its growing acceptance of what God calls evil.

That matters to me greatly. I tremble when I consider the fate of my children and grandchildren.

Thomas Jefferson:

"God who gave us life gave us liberty. Can the liberties of a nation be secure when we have removed a conviction that these liberties are the gift of God? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, that his justice cannot sleep forever."

Frankly, I don’t trust claims to conservatism by those who deny the laws of nature. It’s like saying you want to preserve a building, while dynamiting its foundation.

I don’t hate you. I feel sorry for you.

But I simply don’t trust you.

That’s the honest truth.

Homosexuals, and those who are willing to accept homosexuality as a positive good, are well on the way to destroying what’s left of our free republic: our morality, our freedom of speech and religion, and even our very republican form of government.
