I am requesting prayers from my fellow freepers. Last month I was diagnosed with Lung Cancer.
I had a PET Scan yesterday and will get the results tomorrow.
I ask that you say a little prayer for me that it is operable.

Almighty God, Your power is shown in creation, for all that is or every has been or ever will be is from Your will. You have created time, these lives we have, and the beginnings and endings of our days.
Cause us, O Lord, never to allow anything to interfere with our heart’s focus on You, for we would love You with our whole heart, soul, mind, and strength.
Therefore, we pray that you empower our dear FRiend, waxer1, to dedicate her heart to Your worship, even if that means setting aside all fear and anxiety about the lung cancer which afflicts her. Not, Lord, that she should set aside wisdom or be negligent in her pursuit of Your healing path, but that You would impart within her such a desire to be in Your presence that she is spiritually enabled to set her fear aside, and so give testimony to Your preeminence and power in her life.
Grant her, Lord, the peace that passes understanding. Grant her mercy. Grant her faith. Grant her healing.
We pray in the name of Jesus; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Amen.
