You judge me based on one instance in tens of thousands of posts here, of thinking that for once out of thousands of EPA rulings, the EPA made the right decision.

Therefore you are an idiot.

Look that up.

you trust the EPA, a gang of marxist thugs and the worst of government , the worst of socialism

here's a clue : socialism doesn't work
government is unaccountable to the bottom line and to the public. most Americans don't even know what party has a majority in Congess.
government is the problem, not the solution

and you call me an idiot . LOL . look in the mirror

Show me where I said I trust the EPA.

link it.

I just said that one time they got it right. Once. Out of thousands of rulings.

Now, go away, troll, I think your mommy might want to use the computer.

If that’s what you think capitalism is, then I can’t help you.

More like that fish, the millions of them, are edible and... renewable. Gold, a pretty metal used to stabilize...nothing. If it stabilized currency for real well then there might be a rationale. But still, if they can’t counteract the water poisoning with a treatment plant for the tailings— tough crap on them.

Then you misunderstand both the Bible and capitalism. Capitalism in its purest form is all about whatever the private owner of the means of production wants which is most often against God’s will (as most definitely is communism). While capitalism is a form of free enterprise, it is not the same.

As far as ‘helping me’, thank you, but I’m quite happy with the Lord’s help.

Strongly concur with your statements, and offer the words of Jerry Pournelle, who asserts that “Laissez faire capitalism and free trade are effective at creating goods, more so than anything else, but unrestricted capitalism leads to organlegging and the sale of human flesh in the market place.”

And to be clear, Pournelle is very much against big government and especially any kind of totalitarianism or command economies, but who recognizes that capitalism must be tempered with morality.

Great posts. Where are those photos in Illinois? I’d love to visit there.

Communism pretends to be an economic system and in many ways it is. It’s a moral system, like Islam, that imposes that morality on the people. It’s unnatural and thus leads to failure expressed as poverty with a fabulously wealthy class of political/religious (but I repeat myself) elite at the top. They’re wealthy relative to the poverty of the rest of the community.

Christianity, reflecting God’s creation, is a moral system and goes perfectly with capitalism/the free market.

Love Pournelle and completely agree. America succeeded because we tied the morality of Christianity with the economic might of the free market. That we’d return to this is my deepest wish.
