Last year was the first wave of Obamacare that went after those individuals who insure themselves or care not to.

This year everyone else feels the new law and there are to be massive cost increases to those buying it. There are going to be companies that will stop paying for their employee's health care and many more that will decrease hours to 29 a week to avoid the law as well.

All this will hurt the economy, grow more non labor participation in this country and basically this year the shit hits the fan for all. Will be interesting.

As an example, my wife already has seen a 300% increase in her policy cost.
My little guy who is six is seeing a doubling of his cost to more than $200 a month (for a healthy no problem child).

Obamacare is about having the government controlling employment and deployment involving healthcare. They will stink at it and they have of course created new government employees in the middle that are pushing paper. It is always about growing more government employees since government employees mostly vote Democrat.

Bingo! They have the gall to exempt themselves from the onerous Obamacare burden while happily subjecting the rest of us to it.

It’s all already happening. It’s the primary reason millenials are pissed. The GOP has a great opportunity — I just pray they don’t waste it. Fixing is not an option, but it will take work to straighten out the mess. They can’t just turn the clock back.

In 1980 a million dollar major medical policy from Mutual of Omaha with a 100 deductible and 80% to 5,000 and 100% over 5K to a million was about 22-23 bucks for a male 25 and under and about $32 for a female same age, 26-34 was around 29 for a male and about 38-42 for a female. Now that was no drugs or maternity bennies.
