Closing the 2000 mile southern border airtight will require way too much money which the US treasury does not have. We will have to borrow it from China.

Besides it leaves out 40% of illegals who arrive legally on air flights and just do not return.

My solution will cost nothing! My immigration reform is very simple...pass a bill which hands out mandated minimum prison sentence of 5+ years to CEO’s whose outfit hires illegals.

Removing the magnet for illegals is far more cost effective than building a 2000 mile long 50 foot high fence. They will simply dig tunnels under it.

If my proposal is enacted into law, 90% of illegals will self deport, without tax payers picking up their return flight cost.

The remaining 10% will be 10 times easier to deal with.

Not if you close a hundred agencies and fire several thousand bureaucRATs. I was thinking more like a military base, 2000 miles long and 100 feet wide.

Chip em and ship em (when their visa expires) Put them across that same border no matter where they came from.

hires illegals.

That solution just addresses the ones that are doing the jobs Americans can't get.

I like the bounty option for drug dealers, welfare scammers and other criminals. They could break rocks for use in highway construction before being deported.
