We do not have the money to maintain current military bases we have now. Bases are being closed every year. A 2000 mile 100 feet wide NEW military base is a fairy tale.
If we get a republican president and congress in 2016, a bill to penalize employers hiring illegals is not impossible. It will cost next to nothing to pass and very little to implement. A central database of legal citizens and residents is all that is needed.
