I really do suspect there was a "Ferguson Effect" in the last election, and sane people across the political spectrum were voting for law and order.

If the Governor of Missori is sane (there's no indication of that) he'll have the state police there, ready to arrest anyone who's out of hand and not give permits to non-residents to have a protest or a parade.

Police need to issue something on the order of:

1. Protesters need to form a single line. Line does not have to be in alphabetical order.
2. March through Ferguson, screaming, singing, and raising all the protest you want.
3. Get out of line and get your a$$ hauled away to somewhere the sun don’t shine.
