I’m sure that’s the ultimate objective of the protestors, who are being spoonfed by anarchists. Submit a list of demands, some intentionally unreasonable, and when officers strike, claim a “victory” by calling for the firing of all striking officers. Going on strike would be handing anarchy a freebee, imo.

I wholeheartedly approve of their use in Ferguson if any rioting or looting shoudl happen.

The response:
* Protesters have the right to “peaceably” assemble. They do not have the right to riot or loot or commit any crimes of any nature.
* Failure to self-restrain to constitutional strictures may very well result in negative consequences including, but not limited to: Arrest, physical harm, death, public embarassment, monetary fines, etc.
* Protesters do not get to set the terms of this or any other protest.
* Police - whether state, county, municipal or other - shall be allowed to use whatever assets and levels of force they deem necessary and/or expedient to stop or prevent criminal activity.
* Criminal protesters have the right to be removed from society for an appropriate period of time, to be determined in a court of law.
* Anyone attacking an officer (a la Michael Brown) must be prepared to get the same treatment afforded to Mr. Brown.

Yes, it’s sad when anyone dies - even a young thief. That said, our system of laws is dealing with the situation and it’s time to move on...
Nothing says FU to a riot in the streets like air-burst artillery . & that is not covered by the “protestors “ list of demands.
I like it & air-burst artillery fire also has a habit of breaking up street brawls/riots.
No it is a “Flail tank” the object welded to the front of the tank spins & the chains flail the ground in front of the tank to detonate any landmines in front of the tank.
