Confirmed: Why Yes, a Texas Voting Machine DID Leave Greg Abbott Off the Ballot
Townhall.com ^ | November 8, 2014 | Daniel Doherty

Not that it mattered, of course. Greg Abbott absolutely routed his opponent in the general election on Tuesday night. But it is disconcerting that when a voter went to pull the lever for the governor-elect, his name was...nowhere to be found. Instead, former Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst’s name appeared, a guy who ran for a completely different office in Texas and lost in the primary:

The company that supplies Bexar County with iVotronic ballot machines acknowledged Wednesday that a glitch caused an electronic ballot to display the wrong name for the Republican candidate in the race for Texas governor.

A written statement from Election Systems & Software said a faulty memory card appeared to be the reason why GOP candidate Greg Abbott’s name was missing from the ballot. In his place was Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst. “I’m happy they were able to find the glitch,” said San Antonio voter Jade Stanford, who took two cell phone photos of the error that immediately went viral on the Internet. “It wasn’t Photoshop, it wasn’t botched, it was real.”

This was reportedly the only machine in Texas that left Abbott off the ballot. Or so we're told. Read the company’s full statement below (via Breitbart):

On November 4, 2014, an issue was reported with a single voting unit in a Bexar County precinct in the General Election. An initial analysis by Bexar County and the ES&S technician on site has confirmed that the unit in question was not functioning properly and was incorrectly displaying a candidate in one race on the touch screen. The unit in question was immediately removed from use and no further issues were reported. There were a total of 12 votes cast on the unit and all votes were tabulated correctly. The results tape did reflect the correct candidates for that race and no votes for compromised. While it currently appears that a faulty memory card is at issue, a full review and diagnostic test is underway to determine and validate the exact cause of this issue. Once this review is complete, ES&S will provide a report to Bexar County detailing the outcome of the forensic analysis. Bexar County followed proper protocol and procedure in all testing, coding and equipment preparation.

——I am very surprised at how many people don’t realize the Fed Reserve is privately owned.-——

Heck...a majority of the country doesn’t even know what the Federal Reserve is....

That is also evidence of nothing more than a badly calibrated touch screen. Additionally displaying the results of a tap on the yellow banner and a tap of the Democrat’s name is needed to tell whether it’s calibration or fraud.

Theoretically it would be interesting as to whether ES&S president and chief operating officer Tom Burt would be willing to provide a more believable reason after electrodes are attached to his genitals.

If touchscreen errors randomly favor both parties from time to time, they could be considered calibration or programming failures. If they favor the Democrat in every single instance it must be considered cheating.

Amazing how the ‘mistakes’ are always in the Dems favor.

What are the odds that every voting machine glich and every machine that is out of calibration works against republicans and in favor of democrats?

Simply amazing, isn’t it?

“Why are these “glitches” one-way? “

Quite strange.

Certainly, some orders of magnitude beyond coincidence.

That’s a very valid point. There needs to be mass education on what really happens, and how a true Free Republic should work.

In this race it did not matter...but what if...some “October surprise” made things close...a few hundred...or a few thousand votes up your sleeve could make the difference...

BTW...as a teacher of U.S. Gubbermunt in public school(Tx)..we practiced in the classroom...using our County machines...and at the end I would reveal how I had stuffed the ballot box with extra ballots...not a lot, but just enough...
(we had optical scanner type)

One smart young lady came back with another class later in the day to practice vote...and stuffed the ballot box on me(since I was staying out of the classroom until all the students had entered)..Ha Ha...She became a fine lawyer !

Wendy still has a hard-core base, but it could not organize aufficiently to elect her. Her state Senate seat also went Republican.

Hey, we have a private company managing our money supply -- the Fed Reserve.

The only thing worse than having a private company manage our money supply is having the government manage it.

“Is that genuine?”

It’s not only genuine, it happened in several locations, in different states.

As real as I think vote fraud is. It is very suspicious how that video is cropped. This guy could be using his other hand to touch the other side of the screen just before you see him tap with his visible hand. It is actually possible that the video is a fraud.
