You know, I haven’t actually checked. I judge our current direction on what our new Governor Abbott says. Constitutionally, the Gov is weaker than the Lt. Gov, but that’s not true in reality anymore now that Straus is weakened and Blue Austin has a blood-red body politic moving in.
He might need to spend some time here first. But who knows? Time will tell.
