I agree with this author. I don’t know who this here Seal killed, but I do not believe it was OBL. There was just too much talk of his demise back 13 years ago. Most people were not paying attention, and were just grateful we made it through the preceeding month without yet another terrorist attack. If you’re old enough to remember “9/11 Month” in real time, you have to remember how tense we all were, never knowing what the next day, the next hour would bring. Thrilled when ‘nothing happened’.
As I said before, if OBL did die back in 2001, and Bush was lying to us all those years, with Obama continuing the lie years later, I forgive Bush for the deception. Sometimes, machavalian measures are necessary to produce a needed reaction.
If OBL really was killed just a few years ago, and by this Seal, why was that heliocopter full of U.S. Marines brought down almost immediately afterward? Why was the body supposedly ‘thrown into the water’? I never believed that (water burial) made any sense at all. We are talking about Americans here, the same kind of people who saved chunks of JFK brain ‘for research purposes’ they called it.

My daughter’s neighbor is a former Seal. Looking at him you would never know it. He’s rather slight and seems like an ordinary Joe. My daughter asked his wife if he’s afraid of anything. Her answer was “actually, no except the health of our kids”.

Well, I really have no way of knowing one way or the other. The story certainly sounds fishy though, with the main piece of evidence that might back it up supposedly “buried at sea”, under a transparently B.S. excuse.

Meh, show me the body. Why is that so hard? All these second-hand reports of “verification” are fine, for the people that verified it, but I haven’t verified anything, and I have no reason to trust Obama’s administration of known liars.

The body was not shown for the obvious reasons that it was shot point blank multiple times and was made quite grisly. It was also buried at sea for the obvious reason that he would have been made a martyr at his burial site by radical jihadists.
By the way, AQ confirmed the death on its official website and vowed retaliation. Intercepts also showed after the attack that high level Pakistani ISI intelligence officers knew of Bin Laden’s presence at the Abbottobad site.

What conspiracy theory? I haven’t advocated any conspiracy theories, you jackass. I simply won’t take liar Obama’s word for anything when he says “trust me”. It could be that Obama’s story is true, but I have no way of knowing, because I have seen no evidence to back it up.

Tamerlane Tsarnaev’s body was grisly, as was Saddam Hussein’s hanging, and Gaddafi’s execution. Yet, we’ve seen all of those, within days. I simply don’t believe that nobody would snap a few cell phone pics of OBL on the slab.

That’s a more believable excuse than the one that Obama gave, but it’s still awfully convenient that the one piece of evidence that might verify the story was supposedly dumped in the ocean almost immediately.

First, AQ is not a trustworthy source, at least to me. Second, it seems quite likely that AQ simply thinks he is dead for the same reasons that you think he is dead. Certainly they weren’t allowed to perform their own autopsy!

Him being present there is not confirmation that he was killed in the raid, now is it?
I don't normally watch CBS and had just gone there to see their weather prediction...didn't stick around to hear their version of the story.
And we know it was Bin Laden who was killed, how?
No DNA, burial at sea according to Muslim tradition(Tradition? They live in a friggin’ desert).
The raid was a success due to unbounded bravery by he raiders, but who did we really kill?

The inference of saying, “....who claims”, is a thinly veiled assertion that he may not have really made the shot. I have not heard any other Seal come out and make a statement otherwise. But it killing CBS to know Fox is getting the stories and they are being excluded out. Sort of Chickens**t if you ask me. But they need to adjust their minds to the notion that no one believes them anymore, and there are other news organizations to watch. They have crapped in their own punch bowl. Either they need to get back to telling the truth or be prepared to suffer a substantial drop in viewership.

Yes, it did sound like they were suggesting he might be lying. But I wouldn’t rule out incompetence on the part of the local news person who didn’t realize his wording would come across as throwing aspersions on the veracity of the SEAL.
