I was by myself in a little restaurant, and at the next table were four large black men who were all wearing black and openly armed. One had a T-shirt that said “ICE” so I assumed they were coworkers.
I walked right up to them, and said “Thank You. I know you have a VERY difficult job, but Americans appreciate what you do”.
They looked at me in amazement, then they smiled and said “Thank You.”
Just think: when you break the law you’re punished.
When these people break the law, the law is racist and shouldn’t be applied.
Now go pay your taxes, your government needs to gives these victims the money. :)
Yeah, these are the kinds of people we want in our country. These are the people we want to coddle and favor, giving them amnesty, work permits, driver's licenses, etc. People with SO much respect for our laws and our Border Patrol. People who are just so decent, so thankful for what we're doing for them! Oh, I can't wait to have them living next to me. I'm sure they'll be great neighbors, filled with class and gratitude.
First the president has no authority to set the pay of government employees. They are under the GS system and the pay is set in statute by congress.
What is not mentioned in the article is that last year the administration changed the overtime rules for Border Patrol 2nd line supervisors and managers. The change effectively cut their pay by 25%.
It also effectively removed the most senior agents from the agency as anyone illegible to retire popped smoke and left.
Now anyone who promotes into management takes a 25% pay cut. Just Obama's way of saying FU to the agency.
