It's "consistently stalled" you lying fool of fly catcher, because the American people overwhelmingly ring the phones of congress off the hook every time you liars try to sneak it or shove it past us. As apolitical as most Americans are most of the time, trying to force amnesty on us riles enough of us up, consistently, that you keep having to back down. But like that Energizer Bunny, you just keep coming back with it. That's what"s "consistent"-that you just won't accept that a large majority of Americans do not want amnesty!!!

What's interesting is that we always do, as a majority, on this particular issue-we rise up and get it shot down, then the Rs and the Ds lay low for a while before they bring it up yet again. Obolo the human fly catcher is the first one who's got the arrogance to openly and brazenly attempt to shove it down our throats no matter how loudly we scream in his ear.

I think it’s more like they are perfectly aware that a majority of Americans oppose amnesty, they just don’t give a damn. They lied like satan their father to pass CommieCrap, the lies are biting them in the azz already, so they’re not even going to bother with lying to try to shove amnesty down our throats, they’re just going to try to do it no matter what Americans think. Obola has nothing to lose now, he doesn’t need to spin any quasi-diplomatic lies now. He didn’t reign his ego in even to get fellow rats elected, he sure doesn’t give a damn what regular Americans think, and he can show his contempt in the wide open now.

the not particularly bright Obama said (when he was away from his teleprompter) “Don’t call my bluff!”.

It is now time for all conservatives to tell it like it is: Obama is dumber than a box of rocks.

This affirmative action president got through college and law school on the basis of skin color, he cannot be allowed to ruin the country on the same basis.

If anyone wants to challenge my statement, simply produce his university transcripts.

Same thing. They are agents of the top management of the Government Party which is the Democrats and their subsidiary.

Amen and Amen.. I copied your reply to McConnells facebook page and my personal facebook page. Those two old men need to be put out to pasture and let real American Patriots try to straighten the mess that communist/marxist A-hole has made

Perhaps I am in a minority here, but Cruz can shout and point to his hearts content. However, at the end of the day, if he wants to be President, he will capitulate just like all the other “conservatives”. It will be political suicide to rise up against the hispanic vote..and he knows this...so does Obama.

Once in a while we are blessed with a candidate who transcends the politics of division and subtraction as did Ronald Reagan. You are perfectly right, Cruz faces the risk of blowback from Hispanics and he already is the object of concerted vilification from the left.

If we look purely at the mechanics of Obama's 2008 campaign rather than at its substance (the reverse of what most of us were doing on these threads of time) we see that he was able to transcend most of the barriers which confront presidential candidates from the left. He was able to do this because of his race, because of blind media support and because the media had so degraded George Bush over eight years that the electorate was ready to believe anything about the new Messiah. But he did it, he captured enough Republican votes and enough white votes to win easily.

If we contrast his reelection in 2012 he won it seems on the politics of division. Ronald Reagan never had to resort to that to get reelected.

I am not suggesting that Ted Cruz has that kind of charisma to engage demographic groups like the Reagan Democrats but I know that he has the right stuff as far as substance is concerned which is what, of course, appeals to me and why I have to be eternally vigilant that I do not project my expectations onto the country because I will surely be disappointed if I assume the majority of people think the way I do.

“They should be shaping the battlefield now. They should be educating the American people about why open borders cost them their jobs, their kids educations, their hospital treatment, their physical safety on the streets, their futures. The people should be educated about the constitutional system and why the power of the purse is in Congress. Historical parallels with Mussolini, Hitler, and other despots who ruled free of constraints should be made clear to the people. The power of the purse should be equated with patriotism. The danger of the Gruber/Obama administration must be made plain and related to the lives of people.”

Well said and on-point.

the liberals/leftists still do not read. watch or listen to anything to their right.

I know this is true because they are not even aware of some of the most important news stories. They are what Pam Geller calls "the no-information voters."

He will not capitulate, is my guess, and so he will not win the nomination. He will force the other candidates (all fifty of them) to answer his views with their own, so his role will be important. Self-sacrificing as always--the opposite of what his fear-ridden enemies say he is.

You sure let Romney live rent-free in your head.
