Trey Gowdy's Soon-to-Be Classic One-Liner Against Impeaching Obama: 'Have You Met Joe Biden?'
Fox News ^ | Sat, Nov 15, 2014 | Transcript

O'REILLY: What about what Judge Napolitano raised that this is an impeachable situation because it does go against Congress making the laws. Because the President is making a new law. And the new law says that if you have children who are American citizens even though you yourself are an illegal undocumented person, you can stay in this country. That supersedes the old law. Napolitano claims it's unconstitutional and impeachable. Do you see anybody going down that road in the House?

GOWDY: Have you met Joe Biden, is my response to that. So, no. Nobody's discussing impeachment except pundits and commentators. First of all, impeachment is a punishment, it's not a remedy. Second of all, the only people who want us to talk about impeachment are the President's ally --

Stupid quote.

So you don’t jail the gang banger because his gang may seek retribution?

Same line of thinking. He should be ashamed.

Amen! Amen! Obama is such a narcissist that he would be THRILLED over all the sympathy and attention he would receive if the Republicans started even talking seriously about impeaching him.

And the LSM would be just as thrilled over reporting how mean and racist the GOP and its supporters are.

Obama and his party are way too eager to be thrown into that briar patch--and that's a sure sign it would be a HUGE (and not just hugh and series) mistake!

Yes, I have had the extreme displeasure of becoming aquainted with the Vice Moron, who is wrong 100% of the time.

But he is no excuse to fail to impeach and convict this lawless tyrant, Obama, Mr. Gowdy.

You, sir, are a disappointment and a coward, like the rest of your ilk.

As stupid as Joe Biden is, it’s no excuse not to impeach the criminal-in-chief.

Impeachment? Meh.

Censure? Why effin' bother?

Criminals are charged with crimes, tried and those found guilty face fines, imprisionment, and death.

Ping me when they start speaking in those very specific terms for the Executive Branch and all the Quislings of the Legislative and Judicial Branches.

I’m not sure Biden would be a worse President than Obama for the next 2 years. For all his gaffs, Biden has years of political experience, & probably more foreign policy experience than Obama & all his advisers put together. Clearly not a narcissist, Biden would be more inclined to listen to his generals & domestic policy advisers. That has to be better than our would be god of a President.

An impeachment & removal from office of Obama would have to include Democrat Senators, meaning the Rats would be in political collapse. Such an atmosphere would likely dissuade a President Biden for any further executive malfeasance, especially since he now has an election to win in 2016.

Further, such a situation would severely hamper HRCs plans, having to run against a sitting President & fellow liberal, yet Biden would have a hard time against a competent Pub nominee. Biden would have no genuine appeal to blacks or Hispanics, nor even in Hollywood - he’s too white & too doofus.

I think Biden would be a “better” president for the next 2 years than Obama, who has nothing politically/legally to lose in continuing his illegal executive orders.

There is not a question in my mind.

They would LOVE to be impeached. It would be a coronation, especially in lieu of how /Clinton is exalted, and would not have been if he hadn’t been impeached and turned into a victim of that awful Ken Starr

Obama has nothing better to do than stoke the immigration thing, which, if republicans would just ignore him, would be a nothing.

He is just looking for it

so if a murderer wants to be executed, we should cancel the trial rather than give him what he wants?

Party first, Country second.

Got it.

Party has nothing to do with it.

The Stupid Party is doing something smart for a change and Trey Gowdy is an Island of Smarts and Guts in the Gutless Stupid party.

OK. Let’s try this:

We all know that republicans have done absolutely nothing nada zip to stop this man.

That they have exhibited no desire to do what’s right and to be in power/ in the majority.

They are in the majority now, still taking from the Chamber of commerce to get cheap labor here, and that they are certainly for illegal immigration, obamacare, open borders, and anything else their senior members og for, including spending more time, money and tears attacking Cruz than they do Obama.

Now we have trey gowdy. He is supposedly after the Benghazi problem which is in its third year and going absolutely nowhere.

WE have the bushes who adore the Clintons and hate the idea of Reagan who not only saved us, but who got them into the white house.

Trey gowdy is saying we cannot impeach because of biden.

Trey gowdy is the best hope, oh and I forgot about IRS and Darrell wimp issa, trey is the best hope and he’s saying he is too frightened to go after impeachment.

so who’s going to go after Obama?

Cruz?

Who already has to sequester his family for realistic fear of opponenets, and the only real opponents we’ve seen of his are Mccain and his republican cohorts, including McConnell and fellow Texan cornyn?

I deal in reality.

and I never go after anyone if I don’t have the backing or support, otherwise a monster is created and bolstered, ie Clinton and his wife.

These republicans are wimps. Look at McConnell. THe only one he, or Romney or the bushes ever go after are constitutional republicans.

it is on them that the Religion of Peace moniker is coined. It is on them that Clinton stayed victoriously in the white house after impeachment and that all of obamas scandals have, and willcontinue to go unchallenged.

They have the power of the purse. they can do what michelle malkind prescribes, cut off all funding.

They should.

And they won’t

So I am forgetting about that.

Impeachment is the Constitutional remedy for a President committing High Crimes and Misdemeanors. Using this remedy may harm the Party. So America must suffer the destruction for two more years.

Because keeping the current crop of Republicans in power is the most important problem faced by the Nation.

Got it Mr. Gowdy.

“Impeachment is removal of a person from Office .. “

Au contraire, Pierre.
Impeachment is a two-step process. A vote in the House for impeachment and a vote in the Senate for removal.

OK, class ... if the House votes for impeachment—as they did with President Sinkmaster—then it goes to the Senate senate livestock pen where RINO and `rat blowhards do a gut-check, find they are gutless and fail to vote for conviction and removal.

So Gowdy’s comment was a non sequiter. There’s no way Slow Joe would succeed Zero.
Even if we had 67 GOP sinators, a few like McStain, Linda Graham and other RINOs would abstain.
Politics is numbers. All you need to know in politics is how to count.
Of course, if we had a GOP chief executive charged with a scintilla of what Obama has done, as with Richard Nixon—`Fast and Furious’, the IRS, EPA, BLM (Cliven Bundy), NSA, queering the military, Benghazi, terrorist pardons/arms to terrorists, an out-of-control national Nanny wife, weekly assaults on the 2nd amend., saturating the country with illegal aliens, and on and on and on—again, as with Nixon, the drumbeat from the 4th Estate would be loud and steady, and eventually the McStain Democrat branch of the GOP would be the first to go to him/her, hat in hand, long faces, to ask that s/he resign “for the good of the country” or face impeachment **which they imply they would vote for** in order to get some praise from the MSM and the `rats: “What a statesman!”.

So all we ask—now that we’ve handed them the keys to the kingdom—is that they—clearing throat—do something in order to: keep this megalomaniac busy until he can be shown the door, and 2. ventilate some burning issues (see above) that we hash-out here every day.

And not surprisingly, that’s just too much to ask of them. So our Hero Trey makes a flippant remark,
“You don’t really want Joe Biden do you?”

That’s spinach and to hell with it.

Obama doesn’t want to be executed nor found guilty. and he won’t be by these bumblers who couldn’t manage to remove the disgusting Clintons nor even beat Obama in an election.

He wants to be vindicated and coronated like only the wimpy republicans can do, like they did to him for 6 years and before him to Clinton.
